An excellent griddle!

I bought purchase protection on this item not knowing what the quality would be. Only time will tell. However, we received the skillet just over a week ago and have cooked on it at least six times outdoors on our deck. The size is large and perfect for cooking up truly family size batches of pancakes, eggs, hash browns, bacon. For dinner it was perfect for zucchini and scallion pancakes. It's like having a small hibatchi grill. (Hibatchi style rice is next up on our menu along with sandwich steak with onions and peppers.)  I usually stand over a hot stove with just two items in the pan at a time fussing over the temperature. Now I can cook up eight plus pancakes in one go and the temp remains perfect and constant. So far the heating is evenly distributed over the cooking surface with no hot spots and I find the surface non-stick as advertised and easy to wipe clean with a damp sponge. I'm just sorry it has taken me so long to get one of these.

Great 22" Griddle!

This griddle is the perfect size for make a big breakfast.  I can fit an entire pound of bacon.  And, it cleans-up real nice.  The bad...  the uneven heating surface makes cooking a pain.  It is way to hot on the plug end, and there are other hot spots too.  The other issue is the drip tray; it falls out easily.  Really hoping for a winner with this one, but if I could find one of this size with even heating, I'd pay twice as much.
