While glass food storage containers are generally more expensive, these feel worth the investment. The glass is thick, durable, and well-made, and the lids seal securely. Premium quality glass containers with top that closes the container hermetically. You cannot go wrong chosing this. And trust me I tried all sorts of containers. NONE of them can compare to these. Great size. Excellent price as well. Very pleased with the purchase.

The absolute best on the market

These glass containers are great! Microwaveable by not latching because the vent holes are just under the latch. Great design. No more reheating in plastic containers. Would definitely recommend this product. I purchased the 3.2 cup in this shape, there are round choices as well and they stack nicely too.

Great Design

I absolutely LOVE these containers.  They don't let anything leak and they are much easier to see what's in them.  I can get more in my freezers because I can stack them. Another great things is they don't let other food smells get in to change the flavor of what's in the container.  I would HIGHLY recommend these containers to eveyone.

These are great storage containers, and the tops are the same as the plastic storage containers which we also own.  Love the glass containers for the fridge and the plastic for travel/lunches.  These have not leaked and they stack for storage.  Walmart always has the best price.

Great storage containers for the refrigerator

This was the BEST packaging I've seen in a long time! It came in a secure, firm cardboard box with cardboard dividers protecting each glass container. We do really like the Rubbermaid Brilliance plastic containers- but the containers didn't hold up; so I was excited when I saw these in GLASS.  They do take up a little more space in my cupboard, but they still nest together. The size is great for our adult lunch bags. The locking mechanism seems just as secure as they were on the plastic containers, so I'm hopeful these are a sustainable long term use for our lunch packing needs!

It's my second purchase of the Rubbermaid storage containers. Obviously, because they're heavy glass containers with pressure lids, they are far superior to the Glad ware I used for the last gazillion years. I hand wash them, so they should hang in there for a few years. Nuking leftovers, they hold the heat far longer than plastic ware. Costs more, but in the long run I'll come out ahead.

Fully recommend. Easy to wash by hands. Perfect amount of food can be shared. Also, seals very well for both liquid foods and solid.

Perfect dish

I bought a set of these a few years back and LOVED them, only had 2 that cracked badly enough to have to throw out after 3 years so I bought a second set... Within the first 3 months all four had cracks. Two of them actually broke while washing them (BY HAND...WITH A SPNGE). Quite disappointed.

I started out loving these then I got a 2nd set...

I bought a set of these for my dad several months ago. However, I don't keep my receipts for things like this. It worked fine... until it didn't.  Now the lid refuses to come off.  My dad is in his 80's.  I finally got the lid  off. The lid LOOKS fine. I put it back on and sealed it, and once again, the lid won't come off.  I put the lid on the other container, and confirmed that the problem is the lid, not the container.  I came to the website to see if they could give me a replacement (at least the lid), but their warranty program requires a receipt. Sigh.  I cannot recommend these.
