What an amazing appliance

This is the third machine I have owned. This one has a nice, sleek design. You can store a bag roll inside the machine. And, with the on-machine cutter, you can make bags easily. You don't have to worry about efficiency in sealing your food when you can indicate on the machine whether it's dry or moist items. It vacuums well and leaves a nice seal. I like the accessory vacuum. I use it for my meat marinating container. When I'm done, the accessory sits right on the machine. I am looking forward to many more years as a happy FoodSaver owner.

After reading the instructions, the device makes perfect sense and works well. The one I got at least add some bag making material to get started with. I am a big fan of the resealable bags (it also came with a couple). I will need to get a few more of those though.

Really like this food saver device. Simple to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sent my fiance on a fishing excursion, and he came home with about 30 lbs of fish - this vacuum sealer saved the day, we quickly processed the fillets and froze them in perfectly portioned bags.  I plan to use this device to portion out the bulk food purchases as well.  The manual sealer works with the vacuum bags, which i find useful for dry goods especially and I reuse them.  The bag rolls are marked with lines so it is easy to get it lined up.  Very well thought out design, instructions are printed on the inside bag loading area for quick reference.  Very happy with this sealer, five stars!

After many failed attempts I was able to get the hang of it and it marinated my chicken perfectly! I was surprised because normally when I marinate chicken it doesn't come out as seasoned but you could definitely taste it this time.

Great Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the FoodSaver VS3150 to vacuum seal a dozen NY Strip steaks. It's great to be able to buy larger quantities of steaks at a better price. As I got to my 3rd pack of 2 steaks per bag, I got better at arranging the steaks in the bags and the process went ever quicker. The vacuuming process is simple and fast.
