I've purchased numerous mesh type and ended up bending the mesh. This pne is nice because it just sits in the drain and with a turn of the knob it stops up for sink to fill or reverse the turn and it drains. You can even pull up the knob and wioe out debris. I use mats im the bottom of my sink and all I did was cut the center out and it fits perfectly!

Great Sink Strainer — Simple and Effective

This sink strainer works perfectly! It fits well, stays in place, and does an excellent job catching food scraps and debris while still allowing water to drain smoothly. Cleanup is quick and easy — just lift it out, empty, and rinse.

The material feels sturdy and well-made, and it hasn't rusted or warped with regular use. It's a simple product, but it makes a big difference in keeping the sink and pipes clean. Great quality for the price and definitely something I'd recommend for any kitchen!

Great Sink Strainer — Simple and Effective

The strainer/ stopper looks good and works fine but it was too small for my kitchen drain. I thought the popup function would make it easier to dump out food that collected but it didn't. I have to scrape food off with my fingers. The last one I had was cheaper and ugly, but it was easy to clean by just tapping it against the trash can, but I can't do that with this one.

Too small, harder to clean

This stopper has been a game changer in our house.  The easy on/off function of this strainer has helped keep our drains clear and the sinks looking that much cleaner.  We tried the cheap strainer/stoppers forever and they were just that - cheap.  One of those things you regret just not spending a bit more money the first time to save on the hassle.  Would highly recommend.

So I want to love this - I really do. But some things are just weird.

So my sink drain isn't a standard size so when my original sink stopper broke we struggled finding a replacement, goldilocks style (too big, too small, etc). This works great that it over hangs and suctions to the sink and doesn't let water out. 

But it's weird. It plugs the sink when it's down as shown in the picture - and it lets water flow through it when it's popped up and almost a cone shape sticking out above the sink drain. So if you put something heavy on it (like a pan in your sink) and it touches the stopper it makes it collapse ... then plug the water. 

Then there's food. It's super easy to clean out and it strains... kind of. Since it has to be popped up to have water flow through it - food just like hangs everywhere on it, instead of like in a standard strainer it goes inside. I've had it a week and it's a struggle of a concept. I do like it but for nearly $12 I wish it was built somehow more efficient. Definitely designed by someone who doesn't do dishes.

Overpriced but works

Bought several.  One I keep in the rinse side of sink.  I do not have a disposal. Gets real slimy, quickly. 

One I use for putting water and dish soap on the other side.  The bottom cup thing that blocks the water from draining out has popped off a couple of times already.

When the water runs on full force or when you remove ithe strainer to empty it, the sink always fills up with water after you put it back and run the water again. It's difficult to keep it draining.

Sink strainer often gets stuck on fill setting

By the end of the week, it was broke. i just use it to stop food, but the other feature that i loved about itcame apart and stopping working. Very disappointing!

I have never hated a product more! It is the opposite of helpful. It actually clogs your sink. when you try to take it out to get the food out, it pops up and spills the food back into the sink. I end up having a scoop all the food out with my hand instead of the basin.  It does not hold water well, constantly locks and unlocks. It is poorly designed and $13 over priced.

I love the kitchen gadgets from this company, but this is a piece of junk. Plug constantly detaches from upper part and then it doesn't hold the water. Horrible design… overpriced piece of junk!
