I've been using Head and Shoulders (or generic equivalent) for my occasional dandruff.  While it does seem to work for dandruff, I know that it's otherwise not the greatest shampoo for my hair.  I like this is shampoo is all-natural and much more enriching.  My hair has had a better shine and "life" in comparison.

I purchased this because I could not for the life of me, get rid of my dry scalp....its so dry that I could scratch it until it bleeds. it's impossible to get rid of and I suffer from it since I was a child. My hair is to my chest, its medium/llong in length and has some color to it. This shampoo smells tea tree (I hate the scent) but it does WONDERS on my scalp. If I don't use it for one day, I can tell because my scalp will start to flake up again. I have tried so many products throughout my life that I can truly say, this is perfect for my. severe dandruff. It doesn't make my hair dry or strip it of its natural oils.....its just perfect, I like how its sulfate free and doesn't damage your hair if it is color treated, so I don't have to switch out shampoos. it's awesome! I'm excited to try more Pura D'or products because of the result I got of this shampoo!

This shampoo lathers well for a no-sulfate shampoo. It really deep-cleans the scalp in ways I haven't seen many other no-sulfate shampoos do. If you suffer with dandruff but have dry/curly textured hair like I do, I would suggest still using a sulfate but maybe once a week and for the oily scalp, use this the other 5 days of the week. Many people say you should only wash every few days because it dries out the follicle and causes damage and breakage. However, for oily-hair that causes dandruff, you need to wash every day, and this is the shampoo I recommend if you want to still protect the hair shaft but give the scalp and deep clean.

deep cleans the scalp

Ugh! I do not like dandruff; unfortunately, it seems to be hereditary with my family. Growing up I always saw my dad with little white flakes on his shoulders and always itching his head. As I became older, I learned that it was dandruff and also started noticing that my scalp was becoming dry (Noooo!).  I wanted something that was made from natural ingredients and PURA D'OR had a great section of products that help meet those needs. I love that it's infused with Aloe Vera, Tea Tree Oil, and Argan Oil to help with my scalp from feeling itchy, burning, and heal my roots. I like how this shampoo feels in my hair and the clean feeling it provides after washing the shampoo off. Another great bonus is that this product doesn't have any parabens and sulfates, so my hair doesn't feel heavy and my scalp doesn't get itchy from those terrible chemicals.

Stop the Flakes!

I love that this shampoo strips away product build up and helps dandruff without drying out my hair or harming my color.   It has a clean citrusy smell and suds up nicely, leaving behind dandruff free hair that is perfectly moisturized.   Great value!

Gentle, moisturizing cleanser

Not the best smell.. haven't seen any difference yet.

Shampoo

Super clean and doesn't burn my scalp as much as the OGX one I used to use. I like how it also doesn't dull my highlights like a lot of dandruff shampoos do. This shampoo does the job of getting the flakes which was the reason i bought it! The smell is okay but at least it's made with all natural ingredients and not tested on animals.

Makes my hair feel clean and flake free

Ive tried many different dandruff shampoos and most all of them give you that tingly feeling, which I don't like, and this one doesnt. Pura dor has some great products and this is one of them. The smell isn't over powering and makes my flakes go away.

Leaves me feeling itch free

I have used this product (since age 69) plus another Purador product bc they've helped with itchy scalp. I have seen improvement w itch but no reduction in hair fallout or new growth. It is gentle on my hair so no need for hair detanglers or moisturizers. It lathers my short hair very easily (quarter size amount of poo). The downside other than my hair falls out is price.

By the product instruction use for 3 months before seeing changes!!!
