Can be straightforward, but also time-consuming and challenging.

Has a visually pleasing look matching the product photo.

Looked a long time for a sideboard like this one. Assembly was tedious, but mostly due to the number of parts and the quality of the manufacturing. Much nicer than other furniture I have assembled in the past. It's a beautiful piece. and fits the space perfectly.

Well engineered with advanced materials for assembly.  Some assembly requires two people. Installing and adjusting doors requires some physical flexibility and patience.

nice inexpensive piece of furniture

Great cabinet for storage and style!  Very pretty as a side hutch in kitchen area. Perfect to use as storage for small kitchen appliances and larger pots.

Excellent choice for style and value!

Don't hesitate to buy this cabinet! It looks far nicer than the price would suggest. The box will likely look really rough on arrival, be patient with assembly, it's worth it! I did replace the knobs as they did not match the higher quality vibe. $20 on Amazon fixed that easily. you won't regret this purchase.

This sideboard is exactly what I needed in my new apartment.  There’s lot of storage, (2 big drawers and two shelves that run across the entire bottom).  It looks much more expensive than it was, and I’ve had lots of compliments on it.  I don’t know about the assembly, because I paid to have it put together, but I do know that it was a good value for the price I paid, including the assembly.

Love the cabinet.  My son put it together for me, and said if I ever order something needing assembly again, he will pay the $99 assemble fee!  It took an entire afternoon to assemble.  I had considered the assembly fee but wasn't sure if they would still deliver it.

Love this cabinet!

I’m impressed with the overall quality and the design is really cute. After looking at over 75 different sideboards online, I decided on this one because of the size and price, I am incredibly happy that I did!!

Wonderful quality

Quality item for what we needed to store some household items. Easy to put together but you have to take your time do not rush. The only reason we did not give it a 5 on each category was for two reason one the plant paint was chip in two area needed to touch it and we did not like the hardware so we purchase ones and replaced them.

I wasn't expecting a $1k piece of furniture, so I chose DIY. If you DIY, try not to make a mistake because a do-over will compromise the integrity of the particle board. I'm using it as a coffee bar/appliance storage to declutter counter space. The top is sturdy enough to hold the appliances I use daily. The rest of them store well inside the cabinet.

Meets my needs

Possible to build this with only 1 person, took me 5 hours steady. Take your time building and have lots of room when you do it. Surface does mark up very easily, even wiping down does have challenges, but just soap and water work best. Comes very dusty so a good wipe down is required and note that there were small white spots (maybe glue) throughout so a little elbow grease to wipe down at the end and some nail scraping to get the little bits off. I can see this piece being very attractive to lint and hair though. Also when building, measure the doors before installing and pair the doors accordingly - they are all relatively close in size, but I did swap the doors at one point and it helped tremendously (21.5" doors together and 21.7" doors together). Two doors came with scratches - one small, one large-ish - I am going to contact the seller for replacement doors, so fingers crossed they can help with that. I have kept the review at 3 stars, but am very close to 4 even with the door scratches as the cost with taxes ended up being under $300, so getting it on sale is a bonus. Door knobs are very nice and sturdy and are a nice contrast to the black (although I may change mine to silver to match other items in my room) It is a very handsome piece once built.
