Love this Roomba.  I had a 600 series and go this one and absolutely love it.  I schedule it to run twice a day.  It goes over my thick shag living room rugs with ease.  You can have it vacuum specific rooms/areas outside of the scheduled times.  Only con is the cost of the EOM replacement parts.

Waiting for this to go on sale again so i can buy one as a gift!

It is a good product but misses too many spots and if the battery goes dead, it loses Wi-Fi connection and it is a hassle to get it back.

Seems to do a good job but it emits a sound like it is receiving a transmission from an a/m radio.  First time I ran it I thought someone was talking to me through a walk-in-talkie, and it continues to make the sound each time. Very annoying.

This One is slower  than other models that I have. And it does not clean well. Below my expectations.

I order the iRobot® Roomba® i1 after researching and reading all of the reviews.  I wanted a robot vacuum that I could use an app to program and run, but one with good suction power, and I was willing to pay a little extra for it to run through the app. I noticed a few reviews regarding problems setting it up with their WiFi, but I have other items set up, and have not run into any issues before.
After 3 weekends of being on the phone, emailing information back and forth, my new roomba still will not  connect to my WiFi.  I am beyond frustrated because there is no logical reason why it won't connect and for me to be able to use the app.  So now I have to manually push the "clean" button to start it.  
If it wasn't for the frustration of not being able to program it, I would be pleased with its performance.  It does run in a "sort of" pattern, the battery lasts quite awhile, and it so far has not gotten stuck and has found its way back home.  It picks up cat and dog hair great (I'm always amazed by how much is in the bin since I run it everyday!)
I have requested a refund from Roomba (since I've had it over the 30 days), because I spent extra money specifically for the programming which it will not do.  I will purchase a cheaper robot vacuum that I will control with a remote, and save myself some money.

Frustrated with WiFi setup

I've only had this a short time and it gave me problems from the start

Connecting was like pulling teeth. When we finally got it working it ran around "learning" the room and got caught on a lamp power cord. I was following it so I was able to catch the lamp. Reset the machine, boxed it up and returned it to the store. I'll never trust it to run unattended so I might as well keep doing my own vacuuming.

Nightmare!
