This scent is everything I needed it to be. It gives its original a run for its money. It smells like everything you love about a snowy winter day by the fire. Marshmallows, firewood, hot coco, and the softest blanket to be cozy with. The only downside is you needed a second to travel with you to reapply maybe 4 hours later.

much more woody than i thought. so good!! i haven’t tried by the fireplace so i don’t know how it compares but this smells very good, masculine leaning imo but i will definitely still be wearing this

The perfume is a bit strong but smells really good. Warm like if you’re sitting by the fireplace but not sure if it would be a good blind buy.

Smells good on its own, not very similar to BTF, especially as a dupe. Lasts 4-6 hours, projects well, smells decent. Less smoky though.

Nice woody spice musk scent. I can't comment on how well it duplicates what it's supposed to, but it's a lovely warm scent on its own. 

Sillage is nice. 

Very, very isopropyl alcohol-y smell at first spray.

Certainly a winter or fall scent.

Smells amazing but costly for dupe of another perfume

Unfortunately this was not a live for me. On the first spray I thought I was going to like this but on the dry down it ended up smelling like a old wood musky cabin. I also found this to lean much more masculine then I like. The shipping was really fast I received my items in two days and had no problem returning to store.

I have the original By the Fireplace and I did a comparison on each hand.  To me the dry down from Dossier is not as smooth as the original.  Sad that I had to return because the original is quite expensive.
