Had 2 of these Wi-Fi thermostats installed with new furnaces/AC about 6 years ago. More recently, I bought the Wi-Fi gateway (RedLink) and linked both thermostats for remote access.  Easy peasy, and works flawlessly so far.

I installed two Prestige IAQ thermostats on my Honeywell zoned system 12 years ago. Complete with all the RedLINK add on devices (OPTIONAL) the system operation, comfort and energy management has been perfect. The Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) has allowed my family to enjoy very clean air even during high heat outdoors and heavy smoke from the wild fires. Using the app that provides remote control is clear and easy to operate. I count on the advanced notifications for filter reminder, High and Low temperatures and Humidity settings to keep me in touch at all times. Adjustable staging control allows my family to enjoy great temperature control while saving on energy cost. One of my favorite RedLINK add on devices is the wireless outdoor temperature and humidity sensor. With the outdoor sensor we get to see the actual temperature and humidity directly outside our home.
I receive excellent energy reports from the Resideo Honeywell Home app, what a great service and feature. The Prestige thermostat has an adjustable color screen completing what I call the perfect thermostat installation.

Best all around thermostat on the market!!!!

Installed this system 3 years ago with a high efficiency furnace joined with a heat pump. System controls both units along with humidifier and fresh air intake unit.  System is configured to run the heat pump down to 10 degrees then switch over to high efficiency furnace. The humidity control with window moisture control works extremely well. I'm a retired HVAC technician so I installed the system myself. Being able to control it from my smartphone is great also. Love it.

Very good product

As a builder of High Performance, Net Zero, Healthy Housing the Honeywell Prestige has been my go to solution for 5 years now.  You cannot achieve the level of control of all of your homes external devices (Code required Ventilators, whole house dehumidifiers, etc) without an Equipment Interface Module (EIM).  I am also able to wire indoor and outdoor air temp sensors, discharge air sensors on the furnace, as well as other redlink devices like zoning controls.The best part is that it ALL comes together at the thermostats display with an excellent programming function to have hvac professionals customize and commission the system properly.  It's truly set it and forget it.  Homeowner options are plentiful and the display is well laid out.  Smartphone app works well and is not buggy as others can be.  Hoping to see more smarthome integration on this platform with lighting control and remote video in the future.

Great Control Options

Thermostat and all the attached gadgets work fine.  It's a really complex system with quite a few pieces of equipment in the kit that seem to work together quite well to control my Lennox HVAC systems and attached humidifier units.  Two things that I wish were better.  Communication is a tad bit slow as you enter your setting in the app and/or the thermostat unit, and it takes about a minute to kick-in.  I figured it was due to all the complex set of gadgets that need to communicate with each other before the new setting takes effect.    I replaced my nest 3rd gen thermostats with this one to be able to better control the whole house humidifiers and while these thermostats do the job pretty well the app interface is absolutely terrible and needs work.  Honeywell - please model your app after nest or similar.  Those are great looking and very user friendly.  Why does your app include a ribbon for Rebates?  I don't want to see that on the main screen at all.  If interested, I will visit your website for rebates and making more purchases.  I don't want to be reminded everyday to check for "Rebates" with a perpetual ribbon that occupies a significant portion of the main screen.  Please, please fix this!!!

Expensive, OK thermostat; Unimpressive App!

Very disappointed in redlink. The app does not support 365 programing and takes hours to upload program cycles from thermostat to phone app.

Very poor Redlink remote programing

Remote programing app states it may take and hour to upload, and may never upload. This is only 7 day programable, not 365 day that it replaced.

Not a 365 day programable unit.

Have had the earlier version of this thermostat.  Worked for a year or so then the Wi-Fi stopped working.  Could not get it to connect.  Now it is just a fancy thermostat display.  No way I would buy another one at these prices when mine did not last more than a year or so.

WiFi broke within a year

Spent 3 years constantly having to reset thermostat to get it to save the date and time. Can't use any of the “smart” functions due to this issue, then it completely stopped working saying it can't communicate with the wireless system when it's hard wired in!

Don't waste your money!

Installed with a new system, installer replaced another smart thermostat with this one. The Honeywell red link adapter goes offline about every 3 days forcing me to reboot it. The previous smart thermostat didn't need a wifi adapter. The text on the screen is small. The previous smart thermostat's text is larger, plus the background changes to red when the heat is on and blue for the AC. You can easily tell from across the room what is on. The Honeywell did have no problems working with Alexa and Google Home, although any changes done through them or the app takes at least 30 seconds to reflect on the thermostat. With the previous thermostat, you give your command, and instantaneously the screen shows the changes and the system turns on or off. Another feature the Honeywell lacks that I miss is a log of time the system has run, 30 mins for heat on Tuesday for example. My previous thermostat did this weekly and sent me an email at the end of the month with the monthly totals.
