Ease Of Use

Freezing

Fails to achieve desired consistency in mixtures.

Works really good, freeze the mixing bowl over night and follow the instructions. Experiment with the amount of cream and milk you use. I used half%26half instead of milk on my second batch and this worked really good. Don't over fill mixing bowl because it does expand a little while churning.
Motor does detach from top cover for cleaning. There's a release button on back of motor to remove.

Makes great tasting ice cream in about 20 minutes with just whipping cream, milk, sugar and whatever flavor you want.  Just mix it together, chill it and put in machine.  No cooking the ice cream base first.   I have tried it with bananas and with strawberries.  Both were wonderful. Instead of ice and salt to freeze the ice cream it uses a bowl that you freeze first (8 to 12 hours) so I just keep the bowl in the freezer so it's ready when ever i am in the mood for fresh ice cream.  I'm thinking of trying to make a peanut butter ice cream with chocolate bites.

This is the first time I've ever bought a ice cream maker and I am in heaven it is absolutely breathtaking it doesn't make noise it is exactly what it says easy breezy and delicious

It worked well but make sure you mix everything in a separate bowl before dumping into the frozen bowl. If you don't it will freeze to the sides and prevent you from putting the paddle in. 
The paddle must be inserted into the frozen bowl before the ingredients.

I think everyone complaining is user error. This is a perfect little ice cream maker. I used it to make sorbet for family Easter and it was fast and easy.

we have enjoyed playing with this making ice cream.  if your recipe is right it is better than bought but isn't like normal homemade.  It is a little awkward trying to get it out before it melts but you learn. Best thing is NO SALT OR ICE needed qnd it is donenis 30 mins or so

Don't buy this! It turns your ice cream into soup and then you still have to freeze it. Liked my old school one with rock salt better bc it actually made ice cream. Will be returning this piece of junk

Does not freeze ice cream and difficult to clean.  Lid design has  motor in lid and opening that can't be closed.  Quality of material is poor.
Only plus is motor and paddle seemed to work ok just did not get ice cream frozen.
Instructions said to place in freezer for 8 to 12 hours.  I put it in for 16 hours.

Poor quality product and function

Horrible item. Bought for my 11 year old daughter's Christmas gift. On first use, the paddle snapped off completely. Could not even succeed in making ice cream with it once. HUGE RIP OFF!

Item made poorly. Parts are made from cheap plastic.  Does not mix or touch sides to make ice cream/ clicks when trying to mix. Imstructions are poorly written.
