And the feature to boil the water for 3 minutes to decontaminate it, is excellent. I always boil tap water before using it so I find this feature fantastic. I honestly don't know how I've gotten along without this kettle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super cool product that just makes my day awesome. I'm a homeschool mom to 4 (littlest is special needs) and a small business owner. A lot of the time we get tea or coffee on the run because it just takes way to long to boil water in a pot. The Sencor kettle allows for water to be heated very quickly so we can enjoy our loose tea and French presses right at home. Having this pot is super convenient and I don't know how I've lived with out it.

I haven't had a kettle in years and this is the first one I've owned where it didn't have a coiled element inside. I'm finding I actually really like that. The design's sleek, not too heavy (I have some health issues that can make things difficult at times), and best of all, it's made so you don't get scalded by the steam when you go to pour the water.
I've not tried every single setting yet, but I've tried most of them and like them very much. The fact that it has a digital display for the temperature is a big plus for me. 
Another thing I really like is how quickly the water boils. It's cut serious time of my morning routine and I love it.  It also means that I don't have to wait an age for a spur of the moment cup of tea ;-)
Would I buy this? Absolutely. Recommend it? You bet.

Speed plug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn't have received this kettle at a better time!  I was in the hospital following a very bad car crash when it arrived.  I drink instant coffee (which I had with me) and before receiving my kettle, I had to wait around for my hot water as the staff were very busy passing out trays and medications in the mornings. This magnificent kettle was put right to use!  I was able to fix my coffee very shortly after awakening.  Thank goodness!!
I am now home from the hospital and confined to my bedroom due to my injuries.  My kettle is being put to use in my bathroom (I can get there via wheelchair) and can once again have my piping hot coffee when I'm ready for it!
Not only is this kettle beautiful to look at, it is totally PRICELESS in my book!  Thank you so much for choosing me to try this wonderful product.

This Kettle is Magnificent!

I used this several times daily for about 6 months before it started acting up. I'd have to spin it several times on the base for it to connect to boil the water. Sometimes it would just shut off mid boil.
 Its very difficult to tell if you've filled it enough
