[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a larger unit than i was expecting but that just means it has a lot of the desiccant balls in it. The drying function heats the unit up to about 200F to refresh the pellets.

Works great

I use this in my horse trailer tackroom that leaks (don't they all!). This does a great job to hold down moisture and help prevent mold. I have used one for 3 years.

Strong and holds a lot

These work well but don't last as long as I'd hoped- stopped renewing after only several cycles.

Better than electric dryers

Although my bathroom is 900 cubic ft (vs 500 recommended) this dehumidifier works better than expected. I used to have pink mold in my shower and on shower curtain. With this dehumidifier and a small fan blowing the humid air into the hallway I only occasionally have to treat the pink mold. Recharging is simple

I'm certain this product will work as advertised. I've owned Eva-Dry products before. However, the 1-Star rating is because while I ordered this from walmart.com it was shipped from amazon. This is the second time something like this has happened and it burns me up. There are reasons I don't shop amazon and when I purchase something from Walmart I don't want a single penny going to amazon.

I would not give this item one star! First of all this product doesnt say anything about it being strictly gel beads that once turn green you know to switch it out. I got this specifically for my bearded dragons cage which gets very humid
