[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sturdy removable tray and insert. Really like the removable insert with a cup holder as easy to clean. The tray is really large so also great for play activities. Easy to fit on the chair. Toddler is secure in the seat.

Well designed, washable tray and insert

This tray is very easy to attach to the hauck highchair and stays in place no matter how ferocious the child that is put near it. 
Simple to adjust how far in or out the tray sits, which is a really great feature as most I've seen have 1 set position.
The double tray is handy if you have a little one that makes a huge mess as you can pop the top one off after dinner before serving dessert to them so they don't mix everything together. Or even to take away the need to instantly clean it ready for the next meal. Only downside to this double tray is that the top one just lifts off. It can't be secured on any way so my 16mo is constantly lifting it up during meal times.
The tray itself is a great size and has made it more enjoyable for littlin compared to his old high chair, and he hardly throws any food off now so huge bonus! The cup indent is a reasonable size but not quite big enough to host an adult mug securely or more quirky shaped cups or those with handles that go very low down.
Cleaning is quite easy although if food gets in between the tray and arms that are used to secure it it can be a tad awkward to get it all off. 
Overall though a really good product. Been using it for a couple of weeks now and no scratches on it despite a million whacks with forks and spoons as toddlers and babies like to do.

Great tray

Highly recommend this chair. I bought it for my son (6 months old) and he sits comfortably. I've bought the tray too. Assembly was pretty straightforward and the chair seems very sturdy. Great value for money and the design is similar to other expensive scandy style highchairs without the hefty price.

Great value for money

Loving it! I ordered the wooden one but that never reached me so thought I will try this one and was so happy that the wooden one never turned up. It's super easy to clean, take off or put back on. It's very sturdy, good material. It arrived quicker than I was expecting, well packed. I was able to screw it up myself. I recommend it!

A must have to your babies list

Excellent accessory for the Haick baby chair. Wish it came with it as you really need the tray when your baby is learning to feed. Easy to clean as well.

Yeah Hauck alpha tray

Love the way you can take the inner tray out to wash separately. However the whole thing feels quite big, so can be hard to wash as it's much larger than the standard sink.

Easy to keep clean

Don't assemble the chair fully and tighten screws then try to add the tray.  The screws need to be very loose to allow movement for the tray to be fitted properly.  It's a very good quality tray, with a removable layer for easy cleaning.

Hauck alpha tray good quality, fiddly to fit

The good: The tray is easy to assemble and simple to combine with the chair. It's well made with a smooth sliding mechanism to adjust between the 3 sizes easily. It's also very good value when compared with other options on the market.
The bad: The tray itself is great, however there are a few design issues when it's combined with the Hauck Alpha chair that you feel should have been sorted. Firstly the tray secures into place using the seat strap hole. This means when you're using it, you can't combine it with the straps for extra baby support. This isn't too much of an issue as the tray's bar between the legs will stop baby falling through but you feel they should have given the option. Secondly the back of the Hauck chair seems quite reclined compared to other options. For our baby that was just starting to wean (6 mths) she often slid down to an uncomfortable position and needed to be put upright again. This won't be an issue for bigger kids but for little ones we had to spend more money getting a cushion to make the base less slippy.

Good but not great

The tray doesn't fit the chair unless you remove the harness, which I just find absolutely absurd and a complete safety flaw. It's unlikely my 6 month old will get out at the moment but once she's crawling, I have no doubt she will easily get herself out. Plus I'd rather have the peace of mind that she was safely clipped in. The products are all made for the chair, so really should be able to be used together. And to be honest, it was a bit of a faff to put together. I wouldn't buy it if you want your child to be safe.
