The L'ange Hair LeDuo Grande was heavily advertised for use on all hair types and cooling fan. It was a little more pricey than I usually would spend on a styling product for my hair, but Walmart.com has a great discount sale on it, so I decided to try it. The styler heats up fast, and the airflow fan does keep the outside cool and able to touch, very needed when styling my little girl's hair. My daughter and I both have extremely fine hair that does not hold curl well but this product works! Easy to use, can do straightening, curling, or flip the ends- it makes styling simple. Good investment.

Worth the investment

Love the length of this tool. Much better than the classic. My hair is about 4” past my shoulders so this tool works the best. However, design of buttons not in a good spot. Every once in a while I end up turning my temperature down. I have to make a conscious effort to not hit buttons when I switch to the other side of my head. Not a deal breaker, but it would be nice if buttons would be a harder press.

I got the L'ange Hair Le Due Grande on sale during Christmas.  I've been happy with the upgrade from my old flat iron.  I find the round-barrel irons easier to use than the flat exterior surface irons.  It feels more like a curling iron when wrapping and styling.  I was worried that the barrel was loose when closed on the hair.  I know some had mentioned putting pressure on the end to help tighten it on the hair, but I found that unnecessary.  It did feel "loose", but it worked fine without applying more pressure and allowed the hair to glide more easily.  My curls hold for the full day and most of the second day.  Having very fine, straight hair, that is a huge deal!

I like to use a flat iron to curl my hair and this worked AMAZING!! I love that it cools as it curls. Very easy to use and clips onto the hair very well. I would have given 5 stars…  but I didn't like it for straightening and preferred my other flat iron.

Love it for curling, not for straightening

love LOVE  this curling iron!! I have thick coarse hair that rarely holds a curl, but not with this. L'ange, you've finally made a curling iron that cools the curls. my curls stay all day and I live in South Louisiana.  The humidity here usually makes the curl go limp or just completely loses it's curl. I can curl it at 6 a.m. and when i get home at 5:30, It's still curly.  The only issue i have is that it needs to close tighter on the hair.

I absolutely love this styling tool — it heats quickly, styles beautifully, and works great for both curling and straightening. My hair looks smooth, shiny, and holds its style well. The only downside is the button placement. The power/temperature control button is positioned where it's easy to accidentally turn the tool off while using it, which can be frustrating mid-style. Aside from that design issue, it's a fantastic product.

Great Tool - Horrible Control Button Placement

Review based on first time use.

Pros:
 *It is easy to make the popular bouncy curl or crimp beach wave style as you pull and turn your hair through.
*It has various temp settings. 
*Easy clamp design
*Stays cool on outside with the fan,so it eliminates the worry of burning you ear, face or head if too close. Might be good for short hair because of this.

Cons:
*Not the tightest hold so hard to flat iron hair straight.
*Position of the temperature buttons is not ideal. While styling hair it is hard to prevent changing the temperature without knowing it.
*The titanium plates get HOT and I smelled burning hair. Heat shield protection is a must!! (It took a few washes before the burnt smell went away -- the temp had gone up to the highest setting without me relalizing due to the position and easy push style of the buttons. I only quickly ran it through my lock of hair when it smelled.)

I got it on sale for under 40. It works well enough but not at a higher price point. Its not as great as it seems in all the social media videos. I like that it stays cool on the outside so when rushing I don't need to worry about burning myself.

Pros and cons list. Good enough if on sale.

Looks super cool, but I could NOT figure out how to use it effectively. My daughter is adept at "flat iron curls" but apparently I am not, and its harder to learn with the L'Ange than I assumed (plus, if there's a steep learning curve, I don't have time for that). I could not get my hair to "slide" through as a curled it, so I basically had to open it, pull it and close it again - which did result in some curls that had creases in them. I also could not master the technique of holding it upside down like they show in some tutorial videos. And again, if I need to put in significant practice effort, Im moving on to another tool. I also had the experience, like others have mentioned, where the buttons that change the temp are constantly being hit as you twist it to curl. I accidentally turned it off twice while and had to re-adjust the temp a few times. That was a pain. No lock button for that, which other tools do have.

Not easy to handle, IMO

I was so excited about this item. but it doesn't do a lot for my hair. the grasp isnt strong. i sometimes close the end to get a better heat transfer onto my hair. not sure if i got a bad product or it was made that way. curls ok except for ends. in the end i was disappointed but most of the reviews i saw were on TicTok. Walmart had a great price on the flat iron so i bought it. overall not satisfied and searching for a new flat iron.

Sadly, Not as expected

I have fine hair so this review wouldn't necessarily pertain to others with different hair types. It did curl or straighten my hair unless it was on the hotter temps but it then made my hair smell like it was burnt and even then, it really didn't do anything (curl or straighten). Therefore, I will be returning this.
