Love the roll up door option on this toaster! This a great alternative to using the electric stove.  Bakes, Broils and keeps food warm! Should be mindful of temp when toasting does toast quickly.  Top does get hot so don't put anything on top when cooking. Bought it to conserve on electric bill  and turning on the stove to reheat or cook small items is a waste. Cuts down on having multiple table top appliances.  Overall good purchase and easy for Family to use!

Better than the old toaster. It's faster. It has a smaller footprint. Even though it's a shorter toaster, it holds just as much food. Outrageous!

Love that this is not a huge machine and my counter space isn't compromised. The door lifts up to open so this is such a space saver.  Definitely easy to clean  with no hard to reach places. We are a family of 4 and use this almost every day either to toast or bake.

Great Workhorse

This is the replacement for one that lasted about 7 years. The roll up door is great. The temperature on the old one and this one doesn't match the thermostat. Use an oven thermometer to see what the right temperature is. To get the 450 degrees you have to use broil.

I like it

Buying a toaster oven can be a real headache, for every few favorable reviews there is one that declares the item to be dangerous, terrible performance, etc.  After buying a few over the years and agreeing with many of the criticisms in reviews I finally came to the point I just had to get one so took a chance on this one and lo and behold, we love it!  Takes up little space, love the roll up door, and it really bakes and reheats beautifully.  Like all ovens it will get hot, duh, so when I use it I just pull it away from the wall on the counter so the heat has room to dissipate.  Highly recommend this one!

Finally, A Toaster Oven I Love!

Cooking is the greatest for all food, Broil is the greatest, Heat is the greatest for all food and Ease of use is right on the spot.

Having a toaster oven has been an essential for decades. For the times that you don't want, or need, to turn on your large oven, a toaster oven is so convenient. The six-slice toaster gives you the extra room you need to cook larger meals. The food is cooked evenly, and the taste is as good as if I had used my large oven.  I bought my mom an eight-slice toaster oven. This Hamilton Beach toaster oven is aesthetically appealing and extremely functional. I would recommend it to anyone. It's convenience at your fingertips.

It's Convenience at Your Fingertips

one of the better toaster ovens I've owned. A nice compact size. Temp settings are close enough. Does heat a bit unevenly. Be sure to rotate your pizza a few times throughout the baking process. I'm in love with the roll-up door.  I mostly use for pizza, egg rolls, cakes and pies. Cookies.  Very easy to clean.
 I never make toast in these ovens so I can't talk about that. I have a very small kitchen and do not own a normal kitchen stove so these countertop ovens are perfect for me, a single person.

I'd rate this oven perfect if it had more even heating.

Near Toasty Perfection.

Temperature does not reach setting in ten minutes and varies as time goes on.
Will almost burn cake at back of oven and front is quite undone.
And do not touch the bottom front edge!  I have a charred stripe on my mitt from touching it while pulling out the rack.

Junk!!!

Following exact directions literally everything burns. The pan is cheap and impossible to clean well. I meant to buy the convection one but didn't notice until I had thrown all the packaging away so couldn't return it. Don't waste your money.
