This model was our 3rd Winix air purifier addition to our home. We have been running two other Winix unit models in our bedroom (5500-2) and home office (5300-2) for several years now and wanted another unit for our main living space (we have 3 cats) and this model is by far the best in design with the indicator light and control placement and air flow diffuser design, and we already considered our older Winix air purifiers to be the best units on the market in terms of function and filter replacement. Over the past two decades we've owned other brands and they were awful in terms of function and filter replacement/maintenance. Highly recommend the Winix AM90 model.

The unit is very quiet. It does run all the time, so I am not sure yet how much it will increase the electric bill. It is immediately on when the air conditions of the room change: burned toast or sprayed cleaning products or cooking products

Terrific purchase. Highly recommend and very pleased. A little wonky initially with set up, but it came together well. My friend bought one, too after we saw it at another friends home!

This is the best purifier!  This is my second one.  Very quiet and I love that I can control it right from my phone.  With three cats in my house it just works so well.

Easy set up and QUIET. Mine never goes off blue clean air indicator as we have HEPA air conditioner filtration but allergies must be controlled best as possible.

Air purification to the rescue! We had a smoke issue in our house due to poor ventilation from our fireplace and needed to use our air purifier to clean the air. It worked quickly to remove the odor.

We recently purchased our second winx air handler did not realize the am90 had no timer to automatically turn off and system had not been upgraded to our android we have, so I have to say we were disappointed and will be more careful on our next purchase.
