I bought 3 of these, one for each of the grandkid's house. They all enjoy the daily process of updating the story. Daughters can't wait to play complete story Christmas eve. 10 months, 2 and 3 year olds.

Kids LOVE this!

I presented this to my 5 y.o. son on December 1st and he has been so excited to listen to the next segment each morning, often allowing the whole story to repeat from the beginning a time or two after.  I appreciate having a non-chocolate or tiny toy option at this stage of life.

Such a fun Advent gift

This is a super cute little character. We won't be able to tell what the story is until December, but I like the advent calendar idea. I've always wanted an advent calendar, since I was a kid, and now we have a real one as well as one that opens a new chapter of a story for every day in December. I like the idea so much that we got the UK version of it as well, but I can't review that here, so I thought I would at least mention it.

If you love advent calendars, you'll love this.

I thought this would be the perfect tonie for my bunny-obsessed 3 year old, since it's rated for ages 3+. However, after listening to it, I wouldn't recommend this for kids under 6. Not only is the story too complex for toddlers, it also has multiple scary and intense moments, including an angry bear, and the creepy "humming holly".... which is just weird. As someone who tries to protect my young kids from scary/creepy content, I would pass on this tonie entirely. I expected this one to be "wholesome family listening" and it definitely was not that at all. I'm scared this one is going to give my kid nightmares.

Not age appropriate for toddlers

We have two tonies boxes and when playing snowflake, it starts at chapter 14 each time, and my kids have to pound the box to rewind 14 times… every time. Disappointed in quality, be it the tonie character or the boxes. The boxes are less than a year old and I feel like they are already being phased out for the newer model.
