[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Oxo wine opener is a real winner. What impressed me most is how easy it is to use. Opening a bottle of wine used to be a struggle, but this opener makes the process smooth and quick. The comfortable, non-slip handle provides a secure grip, and the mechanism extracts corks with surprisingly little effort. It feels very solid and well-constructed, suggesting it will last a long time. It simply performs the core task perfectly and reliably. A dependable tool that makes wine opening hassle-free—definitely a great purchase for any kitchen.

Great Comfort Wine Opener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had several corkscrews of this type. The first was brass plated steel which lasted 25 years before the gears stripped. The 2nd was an OXO which seemed larger and more durable than the new one until one of the handles broke off after about 5 years. The new one is cast zinc which I doubt will last very long.

Had the same brand for years %26 was much better quality, but it works fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I was skeptical due to the fact I am used to oxo having a reputation for being very durable. This seemed like it wasn''t quite as "hefty" as their other products. However, it worked great! I didn't have to use a ton of force to get the corkscrew to get the cork out.  The corkscrew itself was rather sharp and seemed to have no issues going into the cork. I use this foe more than just wine. It works great with olive oil bottles as well. I am not sure it will last forever but I know as long as it does it will do a great job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this bottle opener because the OXO one that I had previously broke. This is a very cheap replacement. It weighs next to nothing and is really flimsy so it does a poor job of pulling out a wine cork.

Not typical OXO quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The top is easy to hold and twist. The "rabbit" handles are not. They are far too spindly and narrow, almost painful to use when pushing down and pulling the cork. Difficult to remove the cork from the screw, too.

I have used this corkscrew on multiple wine brands, both higher and average priced. It does not got deep enough so many corks end up breaking. Cork bits really hinder the enjoyment of a glass of wine.
