I had a Krups for 12 years. The hot plate got tired. So my son replaced it with a Mr Coffee machine as a gift… it lasted about 6 weeks. It never returned all the water. I saw WalMart had Krups coffee makers and did not hesitate to put it in my cart. Works perfectly.

This one is actually my second Krups Simply Brew. I've had the first one for several years with no issues. Recently, my first one, started making a noise during the brewing process so I ordered the second one. It turned out that the first one only needed to be descaled, a very simple process, and it's working perfectly again.  I have decided to keep the second one so I will have it if ever needed. Thank you

we currently have an older krupps 12 cup savoy which is no longer available and ones used on ebay aren't worth buying. we just got this one today and made a test pot of coffee after first running plain water thru first. the taste is exactly like our older one!!!! also...we use paper cone filters which we find always taste better than the mesh one.....SO THIS GETS A TWO THUMBS UP FROM US. 👍👍

EXCELLENT CUP OF COFFEE

Everything works well. The only caveat is the coffee is weaker than our former (European) Krups from the 1990s made. Adjustment can fix this though.

Good product

Makes great coffee at just the right temperature.  Easy to use with just an on-off button like we wanted and shuts itself off in one hour.   If you want a programable one with a fancy glass cockpit, this is not the one.

Simply great coffee

I have had it two days and it is great. exactly what i wanted. It does not do all the fancy things that i never used that my last coffee pot did but the one thing it does do is make coffee. One button...push for on, push same button for off. Enjoy coffee.

My revue.

It doesn't take up a lot of room.  No liner/filters required.  Fast brewing and automatic shut off.  A really good coffee maker.

I love the sleek look. I love the automatic time off but wish it was a 2 or 3 hour shutoff instead of 1 hour shutoff.

The appearance is very nice, but most people are right handed and the glass window that shows how much water you have put in the water tank is on the left side. I would prefer an insulated carafe too instead of glass.

the pot is designed in such a way that you need to turn it totally upside down to empty it which causes slight spilling.  the reusable filter allows some fine grounds to seep into the pot and accumulate at the bottom, paper filters are better.
