The assembly was straightforward with clear instructions, and once put together, the desk feels incredibly sturdy. They are not all wood but sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this 59" executive contemporary desk complimentary from Influenster & Bestier in exchange for my honest opinion.

With a contemporary desk style that has black sides with a neutral grey wash on the top and front facing drawers/cabinets.Black sleek steel drawer & cabinet handle pulls. It comes with an instruction manual as well as all hardware and tools needed to assemble the desk.The Bestier executive desk has 2 drawers, a storage cabinet, and a keyboard tray.The desk dimensions are-

The large desktop allows an ample amount of workspace for various needs. Whether for studying, working, or creating music. The large drawer has space for letter & legal hanging file folders.Two metal rods are included for the hanging file folders.
Plus, it has soft close drawers and cable management ports. It is made of manufactured wood/P2 grade particleboard. I do wish that the desk was slightly taller.I would've liked more space in the empty shelf portion.I wanted to put my label printer there, but my label printer was too tall.I think a lot more options would be viable if the empty spaces were at least
 9  1/2  inches tall. It would've been nice to have a cable management port on the right lower portion of the cabinet as well. I personally would've preferred the two drawers on the right side as well or a shelf.Seems like a lot of wasted space with the cabinet to me.If a cable management port was on the cabinet side I may have put my desktop tower in there ,but that was not an option as I didn't want to drill any extra holes.
Because the desk is made of particleboard, it appears to chip rather easily.
When I unboxed it, some of the edges were already chipped. When I installed the first screw (ST6x35mm) it chipped around it.That concerns me that the surfaces will wear and damage easily.The plastic tabs for the drawer I am sure serve a purpose, but it prevents the drawer from being fully opened .Leaving you with less organization space for your office/desk items.I bought various totes and organizers to utilize with the desk To be honest the desk that I had was old ,but it was sturdy,well made with dove tail drawers.It was better made than this item. I think that a lot of newer furniture and electronics are not made like they use to be. The quality has diminished. Overall, if you are looking for a reasonably priced desk that is easy to assemble, this is a great choice! Plenty of space to utilize for whatever your needs may be. I have kept the desk as it fits my m-audio keyboard better and sometimes it is just nice to have something new.
