In all honesty this is a fun surprise toy that is rather affordable. 

My kids each took turns in opening the package, pouring water, and shaking. Then playing with the toy. 

It was very easy to use and follow steps. 
It was a fun experience of "magic" and would make nice party favors & gift add ons. 

I have a couple cons though.  Firstly its a one time use thing. The "magic" or fun is gone once its done.

But never the less the "jar" can actually be used for other things. 

The other thing is the dissolvable paper does get on the toy, making it sticky, and you do have to wash it off. The kids have to wait to play with it. 

I mean overall if I needed a filler gift, or a reward gift, I would get this again because it is affordable

But as a parent sometimes these reveals take more time than you think, can get messy and complicated. That is not the case with the Magic Jellykins. Your kids can do it all on their own and they love they little surprise at the end! My son made sure to explain to me the science behind the toy and how the reveal worked, he was fascinated by that. My daughter just loves cute squishy things!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently tried the Magic Jellykins, and it turned out to be such a fun and engaging experience for my child from start to finish. What stood out right away was that this isnt just a toyits an activity, which made it feel a lot more exciting and interactive.

My child was immediately curious about the process. He helped pour the water into the jar, and the shaking part was definitely his favoritehe was so focused and excited, anticipating what would come out. The reveal moment was honestly the highlight. Opening the jar and seeing the squishy character inside brought a lot of joy and surprise, and he kept saying again! right after.

Once the Jellykin was out, he spent quite a bit of time just exploring the texture. Its soft, squishy, and has that satisfying sensory feel that kids naturally gravitate toward. He squeezed it, pressed it, and carried it around like a little companion. I noticed it kept him engaged longer than I expected for a small toy, especially because of the sensory aspect.

As a parent, I appreciated how simple and mess-free the process was. It didnt require any complicated setup, and everything was straightforward enough for a child to participate with minimal help. Its also a great option for kids who enjoy hands-on play or need calming sensory input.

The surprise element is a nice touchit adds excitement, although it does mean you cant choose the character. For us, that actually made it more fun and something hed be excited to try again.

Overall, I think Magic Jellykins are a great combination of activity and toy. They encourage curiosity, sensory exploration, and a bit of imaginative play once the character is revealed. Its a simple concept, but very effective in keeping kids engaged and entertained.

My 7 year old loved it

Kept her busy, kept her happy, and she was so proud of what she made at the end. Honestly, anything that checks all three is a win for me.

If your kid is into squishy, sensory-type stuff, this ones definitely worth it .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off the fact that the kids can do this basically on there own was a huge win over here . My 6 year old loves to do these toys on her own so she was supper happy to be able to do it . 

They loved the part of shaking the water the best. 

Its pretty neat how the paper dissolves and the stuffy appears.

I didnt really like all the precautions to wash hands when handling it, as it should I be a bit safer for children to operate. Overall, fantastic idea.

Fun Activity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The white hole/dot you see in the forehead is just that a hole. And my 3 year old barely shook the jar for the surprise to hatch the beads that fill inside were everywhere and stuck to her hands. They were also starting to come out the side seems as well. This is my second faulty toy Ive received from Spinmaster. Thankful for the opportunity through Butterly and perhaps just bad luck on our part but still crummy when your kid is so excited to receive mail and it being a new toy at that and it has to go right to the garage after opening. 

Aside from that, concept is cool! My daughter loved the surprise and having to shake the jar and watching her friend grow.
