I've only used this chair once so far, but I am pleased. We will see if it holds up in the long run. Love the shade it provides. Ease of setup is A+. Love that it doesn't have a bag...the canopy wraps around the chair for easy transport. Looking forward to many uses for this chair. So far, I would definitely recommend it!

We have had Kelsyus Canopy Chairs for a few years now.  During soccer season we use every weekend to watch our granddaughter play.  One of them was damaged, so we bought this one from Walmart.  Used it this past weekend.  While very comfortable, it is also used to protect us from the sun, rain, and even to a lesser extent the wind.  It has an excellent design for folding up and using the canopy to carry it - no need for an extra bag.  A very good choice.

Great Chair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had other canopy chairs and attachable canopies for chairs. This one is my favorite. The canopy is easy to stow away when not needed. I like how easy it is to pack up the chair to move it (although it is a bit bulky). It is comfortable and the mesh seating keeps you cool on a hot day.

Favorite canopy chair so far

Bought 2 of theses chairs and wanted to be able to have some shade on the beach and these do just that. Easy to unfold and fold back up to carry.  A great price and good quality.

The best beach chairs

This easy to take anywhere fold up chair is the best! Perfect for kids sports games, concerts, events at parks & camping. Good price and what sold me was it has shading to block the sun.

Best one yet

I needed to purchase a chair with a Canopy for my Mom who loves to be at the beach, but really should not be in direct sun due to Cancer.  So I purchased two even though I am a sun worshipper, I wanted to also be able to hide when necessary.  They are very well made and comfortable.  The only downfall would be that the back should be a bit higher so you can actually have a head rest.... but overall, I love, love, love it.  And the price it is listed at above, is not what I paid, so I feel great having gotten a bargain when I ordered.  And it was so easy to arrange for store pickup instead of paying for shipping.  Thanks again.

Great Chair for the Money

I bought this primarily to use as a spectator at the ball fields... I've only used it once, I replaced my old chair and so far I like it very much. I didn't notice any scratchiness on the chair seat and it definitely kept me cooler than the old one with the mesh airflow. I did use the canopy portion, worked out pretty good. It is definitely heavier to carry than the old one but nothing too extreme. Quite happy with my purchase.

A little bulky but comfy

stitching is really scratchy where the screen mesh meets the fabric. I sat on it without a shirt at the beach and almost jumped back out thinking I sat on a bee. Must wear a shirt in this chair. Other than that, I like the sun canopy and easy fold up and transport. The canopy wraps around the chair as the "cover" with a carrying strap. Much easier than trying to get back into a bag.

great sun chair, but stitching is scratchy

It's a nice chair, we even got a compliment at the beach. Comfortable. Only thing is bothering me that roof won't stay when is windy at the ocean. Keep falling backward. So we have to sit looking away from the ocean. Weird. Basically you came to the ocean to enjoy that view. Instead enjoy looking at the buildings.This is not my favorite part.

I loved my old Kelsius chair that broke after 5 years, so definitely wanted to stay with this brand. They changed the design so now there is stitching right where your thighs are. Feels like needles. Also, there's only one buckle instead of two so the chair won't stay folded up when in carry mode. I immediately returned it to walmart and will wait until this style is replaced.
