I paid $32 (December 2021) for these cube shelves.
This item arrived the SAME DAY I ordered it. But I wasn't impressed.
I found out about the delivery three days later.
However these shelves are great!
If you accumulate projects on your desk(s) as I do, consider cubbies as a
convenient system for clearing your workspace by stowing it all in cubes
like these!
Flimsier cube shelves exist. Check their specs! Typically their assembled
weight is about 4 pounds, and they are followed with complaints about how
flimsy their structure is. Look at the pictures of these products and they
appear 'tinker-toy-ish'.
Not these shelves; The 9 pound weight of this product got my attention.
The pieces in this kit are very sturdy. It connects together with light,
but strong metal tubes.
The fabric surfaces of this item might be one's only complaint about it.
They warn the capacity of each cube is 15 pounds. I would guest that
something with a sharp corner could break through the fabric, but the 4
parallel tubes supporting the floor of each cube makes it unlikely.
The small size of more stylish wooden cube shelves is another complain I
have read. Printer paper can fit in these cubbies. I doubled the capacity
of some cubbies by folding a double-corrugated cardboard piece I cut
from a refrigerator crate into shelves for some of the cubbies.
I highly recommend these shelves. Unless you want something more
beautiful costing $70 to $120.
