This is a rare review I waited to write for several months. It's helpful sometimes to see how furniture holds up. A little background info: we have 4 indoor dogs %26 a toddler. We use the storage cabinet/table regularly for storing games, kids' toys, and as a catch-all on top for anything we haven't found a good place to put away yet. 

The question is, how has it held up?

10/10.

The doors slide back and forth as smoothly as ever. There are no signs of wear. The tabletop is strong enough to maintain its undented/unscarred texture even when heavy things are sat upon it. The shelves hold heavy board games, easily, multiple ones per shelf.

I recommend this wholeheartedly to families w/ pets %26 kids as well as everyone else! :)

5 Months of Owning--My Pros (and No Cons)

I love this buffet!! It's worth the price, meaning it's not a luxury item, but it is very pretty, and I absolutely love the functioning of it. The color is beautiful, and the size is perfect for a dining room buffet cabinet. It has definitely added a little bit of affordable elegance to our dining room. (Picture shows buffet before we added decor)

Wonderful purchase

i have recieved so many compliments and comments on this since adding it to my entryway. 

I love the versatility, the shelves can be on display if wanted or hide a mess quickly. 

It has withstood my children opening and closing the pannels and still working properly.

I would recommend for the price.

Better that the price

There was a really bad off gassing smell that persisted for several days, but finally a wipe down with some soapy water resolved the issue. Otherwise, I was pleasantly surprised with the look of this for the price that I paid. It's not heirloom quality, but its cheap and affordable. Easy to assemble for a 40-year old woman.

Good buy

Great piece for the price and plenty of storage space. Assembly got me a bit confused, but overall took about 40 mins to complete. Really happy with it considering the price point.  obviously the material isn't the best, but hey I know what I paid for. Great addition to my home office

My husband put this together in about an hour. It is HEAVY and extremely well made. It looks expensive and very sleek! I am more than in love with this piece. My ONLY concern to this is that the top shows any marks from handprints. So it will need to be wiped down often to avoid leaving prints. Other than that, it's beautiful!

Exceptional piece for the money!

We ordered the coffee table that looked a lot like it and it matches perfect.Didn't take my hands very like it.Put it together, makes our house look so beautiful with the matching coffee table.Thank you

For the price range the construction and finish are OK. I am going to set it up for the price range the construction and finish are OK. I am going to put it in the dining area put it in the dining area well, we're not gonna be able to do it as a coffee thing I don't think curved curved. It's not letting me.

Curved ends cabinet

I love the look of this cabinet. Using it as a stand below our TV. It wasn't too hard to assemble but did take some time. My only issue with it is it's really hard to open and close. It would be nice if the doors were on a roller or something, I worry the door handles will eventually break off from having to push and pull so hard.

Photo is accurate and I agree with all comments regarding its aesthetics (It does look great.)  

The construction quality is also top-notch.

I was very impressed that most packages of fasteners contained spares.  Assembly instructions are not of IKEA quality, leading to some confusion.

However, we did need to return it, due to the off-gassing of formaldehyde, which was so strong that both my wife and I got headaches and nasal congestion.

Excessive Formaldehyde Off-gassing

While this is a pretty piece, there are some fundamental flaws. One being they sent the wrong instructions (they sent one to a previous version of the furniture) so we pretty much had to figure out building it on our own. Most all of the items were misnumbered in the instructions. Additionally, the doors aren't level when they shut so there's a weird gap at the bottom.
