was skeptjcal about this saw because it wasnt a "brand" name,and to be honest after i unboxed it i was even more skeptical,the plastic parts to me didnt seem high quality,i dont like where the chain tension screw is located,with that being said,once i started bucking up some hardwood those things i didnt like became insignificant,that saw cut my 4 cord of wood just as good as the stihl saw i once owned and just as good as the husqvarna i use at work,the vevor saw is a really good saw and for the price you cant go wrong, i wish i wouldve done a video on me cuttjing up my stove wood,the performance of this saw was so good that i recently purchased a bunch of other vevor products,they should be here within the next few days,cant wait

Purchased it to modify it into a racer clone chainsaw because i was bored over the winter. I will say it does not like trufuel (like most power equipment) however on VP premix it works flawlessly. Idles super smooth, tons of power in the cut and extremely easy to work on. The dual port exhaust is a nice touch and is as loud as youd want it. There is no spark arrest in the muffler its just a single cube style baffle but its great. A muffler mod woke it up abit. Youll need a pacman screw driver to adjust the carb on it. The heads timing is pretty on point, boarderline on the spicier side and works fantastic, the intake and exhaust ports are almost a mirror finish theyre so smooth. The intake horn for the carb is made out of aluminum it appears which some casting seams protruding into the intake maybe 1/32” - 1/16” which was easily removed with a dremel. The chain is sharp and the tool kit comes with all required tools to work on it and maintain the chain, with the exception of the pacman carb screw driver. The piston feels good quality and has a slight dome top to it, although it is a pretty rough casted dome top. Finally the plastics are fairly underwhelming, theyre thick plastic, possibly PVC but they wont put up with abuse like a bigger brand but the price of this being so much lower than most home power saws makes this very easy to overlook as its not trying to take over the logging industry by any means. Overall its a steal of a deal, fantastic quality and performance for the price. Will absolutely be purchasing another this season to build and play with again!

Great deal

This Vevor 62 cc  20 inch gas mix chainsaw is a great unit. When you do the break in process for  this saw mix your fuel and oil at a ratio of 25 oil to 1 part gasoline . DO NOT  just fire this saw up and run it wide open cutting wood  during the  break in period . You should run short heat cycles for  for a least  3 full tanks of fuel mix . This will allow the  piston rings  to seat properly into the cylinder  wall. I have 2 of these saws and they will keep up with a husquvarna  460 farm saw . Once the saws are broken in keep your oil mixture at 40 to 1 and use good synthetic oil . These are great saws  keep them clean  and blown out with an air compressor  after  each use and you will have a saw that treats you well and lasts a long time . Do not yank the pull start out like an old style saw these saws have spring assist so gently pull the cord out until you feel resistance on the spring then complete  your pull  the saw fires up very easily.  I recommend  these 62 CC Vevor chainsaws . BUY IT YOU WILL BE HAPPY . Remember Break the saws in  gently using 25 to 1  oil mix and use good  bar oil for the  chain drive.

Log cutter

Out of the box this saw was awake, but raspy and twitchy — classic lean running conditions. She was running hotter than she should, and you could tell right away the carb needed attention. A few careful turns on the mixture screws settled her down, cooled her off, and made the whole saw feel way more controlled.

Once tuned properly, she absolutely rips. I spent the next few hours cutting arbutus and for, it handled it without hesitation. She definitely likes her oil, so give her a good mix and she'll treat you right.

No idea about long-term life yet, but for a some solid cutting and 6 tanks of gas,  this thing performed way better than I expected.

Didn't Expect Much — It Rips

I needed a larger saw as I live in the country and only had a small stihl 160. I had a lot of downed large trees from an ice storm. This lead me to buying and trying VEVOR. I have purchased 15+ parts and equipment from VEVOR with complete satisfaction. This saw doesn't change that. It has lots of power cuts like butter. Starts up easy and makes light work of large trees.  
No current concerns hoping it lasts but if I look after this saw the same as my other one I see it being a long lasting part of my workforce   Five Stars ??

62cc Chainsaw

I had issues getting my unit started so I reached out to customer service.  They provided more specific instructions and I am up and running.  Great unit and great value.  Stacks up against many higher priced options and the customer service is great.

Great service

The saw was easy to put together and the saw started on the third pull of the rope after I finished lubricating the chain and greasing the end sprocket topped up with chain oil and mixed gas . After the first start up the saw started the first pull every time while I was cutting up some wind downed trees.  The saw is also very well balanced . I do wish that the saw came with a case because of the height of the saw made it harder to find a good fit . But it's a very good saw for the low price

I have never used expensive chainsaws allways bought cheaper ones and this is definitely the best of the cheap chainsaws iv used

Good chainsaw

62 cc Chainsaw. Ran about 15L of fuel through the machine so far. Lots of Power. Choke until it burps, un-choke and it will start first pull. Pull cord has snapped twice, the cord cuts into the plastic housing. Chain tensioning system is not user friendly. Internal baffle in muffler stress cracked and rattles internally. Chain that comes with the saw is ok, filed it half a dozen times and will get much more life out of it. File that comes with the chainsaw is junk. 

For the price it cuts like a champ, question is how long it will last. Build quality is poor but all kinds of power.

I heat our (Canadian) home entirely with firewood that I cut. My Old Jonsered CS2150 needed repair after many years of reliable service but it was in the shop so long that I bought this VEVOR 62cc so I could get some cut while I waited - for over 5 weeks - to get my old saw back. I've cut enough  for 2 face cord with the VEVOR and it's working better than I could have hoped for something so inexpensive! Mind you, there are a few design issues I'd do differently - like the chain tensioner screw in a more accessible place but it starts every time after just 2-3 pulls place. Now I have a back up saw and when I head out to the bush to cut, I have them both ready to go so when the first saw needs a refill, chan tensioned and maybe a touch up sharpening, I just switch the the VEVOR back up. Once it's ready for a refill I'm done cutting for the day - being 75. Time to load up and haul home to do the splitting there.
