Excellent product

lid does not close tightly so if filled for 12 cup capacity the coffee will spray out the top of pot all over the burner and stove as it perculates

The pot boileth over

Not a great design. I have to be way too caeful for the heat to be very low if too high the top of the coffee basket is designed to spill out of the perculator instead of back into the pot. Forget about grinding your own as i do. I have a manual grinder ive used for years but even on coarsest setting produces too many fines that will plug the basket and over flow onto the stove. After many tries finally found some store bought coffee that was clean enough to not make a mess but still had to be very carefull. Does make a good cup of hot !! Coffee
