My husband and I purchased this set for our two kids, ages almost 8 and 4, for Christmas. It was delivered the day after Christmas and took us about a week to build, but the kids were SOO happy with it - they would stay outside until after it was dark every day to play on it! The assembly is no joke; it took four adults the better part of five days to get it all together. But my husband and my dad (both engineers!) actually enjoyed figuring it all out and making it happen! It's definitely worth it to take all the parts & lumber out of the boxes and organize it a bit before you start building. That really does expedite each step because it's easier to collect your supplies. Overall, instructions are pretty clear - we only had a couple things we had to undo and correct - and the structure itself is both beautiful and fun. Our oldest (almost 8) can do everything on it with no problem and still has plenty of room to grow into it. Our 4 year old can't do the monkey bars yet, but LOVES the swings and being able to climb up to the fort multiple ways. They spend time on it every day and are enjoying having their friends over to play too :) 
For any adults wondering, this set is definitely a good size. My husband can do the monkey bars without his feet touching the ground and both he and I can stand up inside the main fort without hitting our heads! The smaller, shorter section is a little low for an adult, but both our kids have no problems.

We bought the SkyFort II about a month ago, and our kids absolutely love it, rain or shine my kids are on it! We loved a few different sets from this site but ultimately chose the sky fort II because of the features it had. Our kids ages are 9m, 2y, 6y, 9y and 11y and there is something for all of them with this model. Shipment was fast and delivered right in our driveway, it came in 4 separate boxes with all of the parts labeled and easy to find. Total installation was approximately 14 hours for my husband and I, simple and self explanatory; easy to read instructions. I would recommend this to anyone. My advice to those buying this set: keep everything from the numbered boxes together in piles as the instructions reference the boxes they come in.

Great addition to our yard!

Perfect. All the boards, nuts and bolts were a little overwhelming at first until I realized how well labeled each piece was. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow along one page at a time. Finding the hardware required for each page was very time consuming so I laid the hardware out and sorted by page. I put the hardware for each page in a sandwich bag and wrote the page number on the bag. That saved a lot of time. Double check the location of pilot holes as assembling. Grandkids will enjoy this for years.

Bought the skyfort ii + assembly by GOConfigure. Excellent product and builder did a great job!  6 year old son absolutely loves it.  4 big boxes arrived promptly and delivery team kindly placed them in my garage. GoConfigure had to reschedule twice but was worth the wait because Anthony did a pro job. He builds these all the time and took him less than 8 hours. Finished product is great and we are happy. Wood is very lightweight but sturdy. Wood is pre stained but we will be putting another coat to get the most out of it for years to come. Builder told us that it is covered under warranty for 18 months. Any piece breaks they will send replacement and he will install it. I really hope that is true because that sounds great!

Skyfort II is awesome!

We have had this playset for a month or so and we absolutely love it! Our toddler has been wanting a big girl playset and she finally has it. And is obsessed. We put together ourselves and it took a couple days. Instructions were mostly clear, just tedious. Overall great purchase!

So much variety of play

I love this swing set and took a while and a lot of research to purchase it. I wanted monkey bars that had a separate area for them and not many sets across the different brands had that. My daughter is 5 and very active so I wanted something that she  wouldn’t age out of so quickly. The playhouse fits myself, my husband and my daughter comfortably with room! I wish that the roof was more secure so that when it rains it didn’t get wet inside but that is a wish. The only 2 negatives I see with the set are the cross bar holding the swings and glider should be a little longer to give more space between each item and there should be a second ladder on the other end of the monkey bars so that if the child isn’t strong enough to swing their legs up to the playhouse at the end of doing the monkey bars they have another way to descend. I bought a trapeze to replace one of the other swings so that would be a great addition. I purchased the assembly and though I am sure you could do it yourself or hire a handyman to do it for less it was the best part of the purchase. It took 2 professionals about 18 hours to put together. Aside from those things it’s a great set that I am happy to have purchased!

Great set, a few negs but happy with my purchase

This is a beautiful and very large play structure. The wood is clear white cedar stained a nice red cedar colour. Every price was perfectly cut and drilled and everything aligned correctly as described in the giant instruction book. The wood is super dry, and white cedar is a VERY soft and light weight wood so I was a bit concerned about how solid everything would be. Once fully put together (about 20-25 man hours over the course of 3 days) it is shockingly solid and stable. Some of the peices seem a bit slender and flimsy but, so far everything has stood up to the 2 kids and it is designed for small children after all. A beautiful play set at a very fair price.

Better than expected play structure, kids love it.

My daughter is absolutely in love with her new playset!   The shipping was a tad late that’s why I gave 4 stars.  It took around 15 hours to put together.  Downloading the BILT app is highly recommended.  Worth the investment!   Daughter is always wanting to be outside on her new play set

Worth the time and money!!

We hired 2 builders to install this for us -- and they agreed that the intimidating number of pieces and hardware told the whole story: it was a beast to put together!!  But it's a pretty thing, sturdy enough, with simple and lower-level fun for younger kids, high monkey bars and crow's nest for older kids -- really nice combo. Contrary to what some others have said, the monkey bars are at a great height (NOT too high), even for our 5yo (this is how they LEARN to drop safely!).  We'll probably replace the wavy slide soon -- a straight slide gives a faster (and more comfortable!) run -- but it's certainly functional as is. The set needs 100% level site; no leeway in the setup.
      I took off one star because of two quite notable things:
1.  Like so many other swingsets these days (!), the swing beam is WAY too short, putting the swings (or whatever apparatus you hang) WAY too close together; collisions guaranteed over age 5.  We'll be removing the middle swing when older kids are really flying on it.
2.  The wood is NOT a real cedar (Northern White cedar); it is a cypress, as is its cousin, our Western Red "cedar."   It is, nonetheless, durable and naturally resistant to insects, fungus, and rot; not particularly hard -- but a good product. It is used virtually everywhere now because the tree matures VERY quickly--quick growth = quick profit, etc.
     All in all, it's a good set, if a little pricey. Definitely has something for everyone, all components seem trustworthy, and virtually every area is visible to a nearby adult -- and, oh, the shady picnic table underneath is excellent.    --Me plus 2, 5, & 7yo grandkids.

A LOT of fun!

This swing set is perfect for our 3 and 5 year old. So far it seems very durable and it’s beautiful to look at! We have only had it for about 2 weeks. The only downfall was that some pieces came damaged or missing, but they were easy to work with when getting new ones. The other disappointment is that you are required to stain the whole set after it is assembled. Besides these two negatives, it’s a great swing set!!!

I wanted to love this product so much.  But I’m SO disappointed to report that after less than a month of use, the screws that hold the flooring are literally all breaking.  Just tonight I pulled out over ten screws that were popping up and could seriously injure a child.  Replacing the screws isn’t even an option because they’re literally broken with the tips remaining in the boards.  My husband did and amazing job building it over the course of a long weekend, he estimates 24 hours, alone!  It looks beautiful from a distance but it makes me sick to think 1.  The money we invested thinking this would be a long lasting swing set is blown and 2.  The hours he spent in it, what a waste.  I won’t have him waste another minute trying to fix it.  There are boards that are already warping too-  on the top of the picnic table and on the top viewing deck.  Such a disappointing purchase.  We should have gone with the Gorilla Playset that we’ve had in the past and held up amazingly.
