There are no better knives than buck, and the 119 is a Testament to that. I Carry this knife with me everywhere I go, city or trail. Great for everyday practical use and then some.

I have used Buck knives for decades. The quality of the workmanship. The ability of the blade to keep and edge. The quality of the sheath. I own several of these hunting knives and seldom even look at other knives.

Cheap blade with an edge that folded when cutting a thin zip tie. Pathetic. I could have, SHOULD have spent the money on a forged knife from a local knife maker. Lesson learned. The good reviews are most likely from people impressed with the looks. Not rugged at all.
