Can be impressively cool, but sometimes struggles to maintain a consistent temperature.

Maintains consistent room temperature as set.

Can be quiet, but also produces noticeable sound on higher settings.

Operation is straightforward with easy-to-use remote.

Brought this for showroom as did not want product that gets hot because customers may touch. Already purchased one year ago so decided to get another one as delighted with product. The Dyson looks very chic and produces a good supply of heat, also the added facility to have cool air blown about. Would highly recommend.

You get what you pay for

I love asking Alexa to set the speed and direction to back or front.  We thought the price was ridiculous, but now are talking about buying two more.  They really are amazing.

We previously purchased a AM04 which was a total upgrade to a heater of a different brand. The AM09 has many similarities to the AM04, but we really enjoy the focused/ diffused mode settings. This unit is also quieter than the AM04, which was much appreciated as well.

My husband and I are both addicted to this Fan Heater for different reasons. I love the cool air that it delivers in our hot Tennessee summer and avoids turning the air conditioner lower. My husband loves it because it will warm him up quickly (he does not have any fat on his body and the cold airconditioned air bothers him tremendously). This fan has done wonders for us being able to live together in the same house in the summer.

It is a great Dyson product and converts from heat to air quickly and conveniently. It also is very easy to move from one room to another.

Fantastic Fan & Heater

We had the opportunity to test the new AM09 fan/heater, and we absolutely love it. Besides the fact that no fan blades means it's so easy to keep it clean, we enjoy some of the features on this fan. We use the diffuser function if only one of us wants the fan directed towards them, but not the other, while it can continue to oscillate in a smaller radius. We also like the fact that we can easily switch between heat and cool, which we have done often on winter nights. The tilt feature makes it more versatile, depending on where you need to place it.
We have several Dyson products, and I can't get over the quality of their products. We have an original Animal vacuum, which we purchased in late 2007, and it works as well today as the day we brought it home. Thank you Dyson for making such quality products.

Another great Dyson product!

We are definitely a Dyson family! We love their products but this is our second hot/cool fan. It's a must in our children's rooms. It keeps their room esp as little ones a constant temp. Regardless of weather they keep their comforter on, or are newborns and allows us to keep the house cooler more comfortable adult friendly temp. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

2nd one purchased

one thing i do not like about it, when it reaches the desired temp. the unit shuts off but the fan still stays on blowing cold air into the room, it should shut down completely and go back on. other than that it is a good unit. but it does not make sense to get the room warm, then the fan stays on cooling the room .

Great looking, but wish it had variable heat settings ,only just adequate for very cold rooms. Look forward to seeing how efficient it is in hot weather. Expensive.

This was a Refurbished white color product, that was sent. Information on Walmart website was inaccurate and so had to return this product. On top of this  the Cool Fan Heater, made a lot of noise when compared to my other similar heater that I have at home from last year. It even tripped the power of my entire home (drawing too much current !). Frankly, I was shocked on many levels about this product
