Coffee has a consistent taste when brewed.

Narrow stream and heavy carafe hinder pouring process.

Can be removable and easy to fill, but also prone to cracking.

Simple operation with clear instructions.

Pouring speed could be improved for a smoother experience.

I bought my coffee in February and I love it. We drink a lot of coffee and are at our 3rd coffee maker Oster. I wish it was a little more durable because in the long run, the coffee stays less hot and that’s why we buy a new one.

Love how warm and fresh the coffee stays in the thermal carafe.  Being able to program the machine so that my coffee is ready in the morning is helpful.

Just what we wanted

Our past two coffee makers, as did the Oster Optimal Brew, brewed coffee at higher temperatures than typical economy models and we believe this makes for better tasting coffee.
This Oster coffee maker has not disappointed us but something different, better tasting coffee, is evident in each cup we drink.
Oster claims it uses Blooming Technology. Well if this is the difference...it works! Oster, when the time comes for us to make another coffee brewer purchase, you just raised the bar.

Tasted a difference at first cup.

Used it for several weeks and the coffee tastes great. The water tank is slightly awkward putting in but really like having it. The coffee is so nice and hot - love it. And it has great style. Compared to the cost of higher end machines I think we got a great quality for the price. The thermal pot is good - keeps the coffee hot for a couple of hours and warm a bit longer.

Great coffee maker

This is the best one that I could find on the market. One of the few that has a steel pot 
rather than a glass one. Keeps the coffee HOT for a long time. It also has several features
that others don't have for extra convenience. This is the second OSTER that I've bought.
I wore the first one out after about 10 years of excellent service.

OSTER 12 Cup Coffee Maker

I am very satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend it. Coffee stays warm for a long time, we know how long it is ready. This is also convenient the water tank. Before I had perfect cooking, it lasted only 6 months because it broke and flowed. So I changed to Oster, and I can tell you that I'm very happy with this purchase.

All in all, I really love my coffee maker. Not had a single issue with it yet and I use it twice a day and had it a month so far. It's well made, the price is really good. I bought a cuisisnart before this one and returned it after a day. It was more expensive, cheaply made and only brewed once before not working properly. You won't be disappointed with this one. I love it.

Love my coffee maker

We purchased this model after much research. We wanted a thermal caffe because we don't like cooked coffee. We didn't order the gold filter from oster, our error, but bought one locally. Here's what we found: the coffee grounds must be medium ground, it helps to also have a paper filter. We found otherwise the coffee grounds overflowed. So double bag the filters, and no more mess.

Good cup of coffee

I bought this product 1 month ago and we use it everyday.  I don't understand why some people wrote about some problems with the filter or that it's very long to get the coffe ready ?!?  I'm using paper filter and there's no problems,  Coffee is good and it's very fast to make it.  The stainless keep your coffee good for 2 hours.  So I just cross my fingers because I don't want to have a problem with the electronic board like my Sunbeam who stop after one year and they don't want to sell me the part.

Two months after purchasing a Coffee Maker (BVSTSCTX95-033) and a Oster Grinder and Hopper (BVSTBMH23-033), we are very satisfied with our purchase. We really like the features and, to date, the operation of these two Oster devices. It's a perfect match.

Unit makes great coffee, but be prepared to clean up major spillage at least once a week due to clogged coffee grounds in filter mechanism to coffee pot.  Originally thought it was due to my positioning of paper coffee filters, but then purchased a permanent filter, to no avail.  Avoid at all costs.  Great looking machine, but poorly engineered.  Sorry!
