Suction

We are impressed with this vacuum.  Suction is strong! Cord rewinds easily. Solid vacuum. Right head for carpets and furniture.  The floor head gets under everything and is big enough that you don't have to go over floor many times just to get everywhere. Also like that the end of the wand is solid so it creates a power suction when you need to get the wand only into places.  it works to suction debris, not like vacuums with holes for attaching heads . Will definitely recommend to friends and family!!

We are quite satisfied with our Miele Blizzard CX1 Cat and Dog Bagless Cannister Vacuum.
It doesn't require bags just as the title says....it has a filter which makes it healthier and it has lots of suction.....thus doing a great cleaning job.

Great Vacuum!

I am happy with this particular vacuum, glad I picked the bagless as otherwise would be pretty expensive to buy the bags since they fill up quickly though the plus side of the bags is they self close and no breathing of any dirt/dust when emptying.   Container is very easy to pop open to empty and much easier and quicker to deal with than my canister Dyson, I still like my Dyson though!  Love the extended handle and the control button on the handle.

Great vacuum a bit heavy but it speaks to the longevity and quality of the build and hence the high price, by this I mean the heavy metal handle will out last world war 3.  The vacuum heads are very solid too. The unit is very quiet compared to our older model dyson, but the unit is a bit heavy, but it does a great job picking up our dogs long think hair.... very happy

Amazing Vacuum

I vacuumed with the Dyson we are replacing then the Miele and the amount the Miele picked up that the Dyson didn't was amazing. All the features with the Miele we enjoy especially the bag less function.

This vacuum has great suction, comes with some very nice accessories and bagless is handy when you have a lot of pet hair.  Saves time and money on finding/buying pricey bags and better for the environment. 

That said there are a couple things we were disappointed in compared to the bagged model.  The bagless machine is a little heavier and when standing up the bottom is a little wider.  This is noticeable when vacuuming stairs as it just barley fits on the stair and can tip more easily. The air vents are off the sides so it can blow the dirt/hair around if you are not careful.  The machine also only has two tools that attach vs. the three on the bagged model.  The tool with the brush comes with the bagless machine but must be stored separately.

Overall I'm happy with the bagless model.  I would recommend it to pet owners but only when on sale.

Great machine if you have ALOT of pet hair!

I currently use a Dyson V15 (I believe this is the model number). I was speaking with someone about vacuuming pet hair and they advised that they went through 3 Dysons until they found the Miele Blizzard for pet hair. We decided to buy it and it was not at all what we expected. On both occasions that we used it, We tried multiple heads and still had to go over the same area with the Dyson to actually pick up the hair on the floors and carpets. It was disappointing as the recommendation was so good.

I would not recommend this product for pet hair.
