I got the kettle last week. We like it very much. It's so practical and beautiful. Matched completely with our new apt. Though, it takes almost 20 days to receive from Ontario to BC, where the closest Walmart store to us is located. I would recommend it to anyone.

We like this Kettle

Model number imply sits 1900W but it's not it's only 1100w.
That's deliberately miss leading.
I recommend you don't buy it for that reason alone.
Look for1500w for fastest boiling. It's the usual max for a 15 amp outlet.

Not 1900W ....it's only 1100w

This is a very basic kettle, boils only but does it quickly and the glass pot is easy to clean. That's why it's less expensive than others. I only wish it had the feature to keep the water hot instead of just shutting off.

Heats Fast, Looks Good, Great Buy

This kettle has a beautiful appearance, but contrary to the description, the water does not boil faster than the microwave, and the handle of the kettle heats up a little and the water cools down very quickly !!

Feedback on Brentwood 1 7L Cordless Glass Electric

[Employee of walmartcanada] I ordered this kettle from Walmart online, picked up the kettle 7 Jan 2019. Didn't look at the life of the warranty was only 12 months. Works fine till 12 Jan 2020 it died, just stopped working, just after the warranty was up 12 months and 5 days. That's some timing.
Look for something with a longer warranty.

Life span was to the warranty marker!

Right from the start kettle was rusting on the inside bottom then after a few months just quit working.  Called Wal-Mart care plan and they said still under manufactures warranty  so I had to call Brentwood. Called Brentwood and was told to email receipt and picture to Justine. I did and never heard nothing. I called and talked to her and she said she didn't get a chance to read her email and said Id have to send it back but never gave any instructions where to send it, I can tell she wasn't helpful the way she brushed me off. It would cost half the price of the kettle to send it back. Sent another email and she never replied. We don't need to be treated like this, Wal-Mart shouldn't sell this brand if their customer service is this bad. I bought a better rated Hamilton Beach for less.  Buyer beware of BRENTWOOD, STAY AWAY

Please stay away from this kettle

I didn't read enough prior to purchase...this kettle DOES NOT HAVE AN AUTO-SHUT OFF!!!!  that means it will just boil away until it boils itself to death...you must stand on alert, watch and wait for the boil...and then turn it off!  no room for someone getting distracted!   I also found it to be slow getting to boiling point!  "Watch pots never boil!," right?!

Brentwood KT Glass electric kettle

Got this for less than a month, guess what? There are dots of rust growing at the bottle on the boiler , good thing i got a clear one so I can see it through !!!!
