Love it

I am very happy with this toaster.  It toasts evenly on both sides, and the entire slice of bread fits into the slot.  It's silly that this should be so hard to find, but I did with this toaster and I'm very happy.

This toaster is fantastic! I've used it one or twice a day since I got it and I'm consistently pleased with the results. It toasts evenly on both sides, and the bagel button (which has never worked on any other toaster I've used) makes perfect bagels, even when toasting them from frozen. I've also used it for frozen pastries and gotten good results. I like my toast on the lighter side so I'd caution against moving the setting too high to start; any higher than 4 and it seems to burn a bit. As an added bonus, it's a nice looking appliance, and quite small so it fits well on my counter. Definitely would recommend!

Perfect bagels every time

It is very effective with industrial bread but since I eat mainly artisan bread I have difficulty having bread well toasted.

It is an awful Toaster, the only consistency is that it does NOT Toaster...no matter the setting, toast one side only, very lightly on opposite side, setting doesn't matter still have to take bread out and insert opposite side to get both sides toasted and end up with one side darker than the other!

Does NOT Toast well

We bought this Oster's toaster and in less than a year the slice grippers came off and has been a problem since then. Slices get stuck, and when it stops, you'd better be there to remove them otherwise the machine restarts the toasting process.

We should be getting a free toaster for what it's worth! 

On a positive note, all other Oster products (blender, coffee maker) we have are great. So we'd still recommend your products.

Disappointed

Worst toaster ever. 3 days after the 30 day return period it stopped toasting both sides. Now it takes about 7 minutes to toast one side. Do not buy this toaster! Worst product ever!!!!!

Worst toaster ever! Oster used to be a good brand

I bought this toaster about 3 weeks ago and it is repacked and ready to return. It is totally erratic unreliable and really useless. For example at the medium setting with regular white sliced bread it will  burn at one corner, not even colour the rest of the slice and  maybe lightly toast the second slice

I am sorry to say this toaster is no better than the one I replaced.  I am never sure how my toast will turn out.  It appears that the elements do not heat up evenly therefore toast is not evenly browned.  Have not tried other features so will not comment.

Poor toasting

This is my second unit with the same result. The setting is a but over 2 and the toast either burns or only one side gets toasted or I have to turn it over and toast the other side but have to pop it before it burns.
