Decided to stay with Schumacher brand for the replacement of the battery maintainer on my motorcycle.  The first one lasted 17 years.  Plugged it in and back in business.  Better value than the "tender" brand and cheaper than the current Amazon price.

Easy to use, when the battery is a little low just plug it in and connect the   and- leads to the battery and let it charge.  It does a great job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] shumacker says it all, i have 2 tentyfour years old. i get 12-15 years out od batterys by keeping a trickle chger on an check batt water 2x a year

Great, long lasting quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Schumaker charger/maintainer was slightly cheaper than the Battery Tender Plus however I like the Battery Tender Plus better for the slight increase in cost.  The case is all metal, not plastic and there is both a red and green "charging" and "charged" light.

Original box is too small. It severely bends the power cord where it meets the charger housing 

No "FORCE" mode for undetected batteries 

No gauges to see actual results

Doesn't connect well  Clamp springs are WEAK and have no clamping power.  The clamps will not bite and will constantly come off or move causing poor connectivity 

 Housing material seems fragile for a tool mainly used in a garage or outdoors 

I tried 8 12V UPS lead batteries and not one of them was detected (it detected a car battery). No bad battery light or indication of voltage.

No jump start mode

If you want "SIMPLE" with no specs, choices or battery info. it's right up your alley 

To me, this is a basic trickle charger. No more no less. I see this as comparable to the $9 on at that other store

The cable clamps are pretty much junk right out of the box. 

 It's frustrating because there's no information about the battery status 

I don't recommend this for your daily driver battery charger. 

it seems more suitable for a lawnmower that has a battery start option. I'm underwhelmed, unimpressed and disappointed with this product.

I will be returning mine for a refund
