Takes up little floor space but packs a punch when heating up my basement work out room.  Ordinary fan function welcome all the time.  Walmart had competitive pricing.

Toasty little heater/fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you'd like one device to handle both heating and cool in mild climates, this is a good solution.
It's great for a medium size bedroom or living room. The heating function works as well as any small space heater. The fan function isn't as powerful as a dedicated fan though. The PureGuardian Oscillating fan comes with a remote control too, but I just used the control on the fan itself.
It's easy to set up, right out of the box. The buttons on the remote and the buttons on top of the tower are pretty self-explanatory. We just tap the power icon on top, tap the fan icon twice for the strongest wind setting, and adjust the temperature if needed. Puts out a nice bit of air, especially when you set it to circulate. Also, it doesn't hurt that it's cool looking. We know from experience that it's really durable. Our dogs accidentally knocked it down the day we got it. I thought it was toast for sure, but it works perfectly fine. We're very happy with it.
Very happy with it so far , plus we just moved to MD state and the cold weather it's already here . They come in the right time . 
I highly recommend it.

Great multi-use heater and fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pureguardian is a pretty cool heater tower for your home. It can spin around evenly distributing heat around the room. Or you can stop the spinning if you want it to blow heat in one direction only. It's sleek black design fits in any room with any decor. It is 27 inches tall and pretty slim. The cool thing is that this is not only a heater but it can also be used as a fan to cool the room in summer. It also has two speeds. Another cool thing is that it has auto climate control AND remote control so you don't have to get up off the couch to change the settings it turn it on/off. The tower has a convenient window in the back for easy carrying it around. I wish the cord would be a little bit longer though. The room gets warm really fast. When the room reaches the set temperature it stops blowing air which is good. Or you can set it up on continuous blowing. Overall I think it is a great heater and I would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oscillating fan and heater is amazing.You can use it as a fan without heat as a heater.Its so quiet can't tell it's on what a great thing.It comes with a remote control.The heat it puts off will definately heat a room we have big living room and kitchen with glass doors,it heats it perfectly.One awesome point it isn't huge it's tall and thin can fit anywhere.Made very well and the instructions are easy to read definitely worth investing in one.We live in ny and it definitely take the chill off.

Perfect unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is impressive. This is an excellent heater and fan. Two functions in one cool looking unit. The unit is sleek, black, tall and easy to use. The remote battery was included but had to be inserted and it was ready to use. I plugged into the wall and pushed the rear power switch to on to operate and then it was ready to use. I quickly read the easy to follow instructions, brief and easy to understand. This came just in time for the cold fall days that we have been having in New York. No need to turn on the boiler yet. I set it at 72 and it turned off as soon as it reached my desired setting. The unit took the chill right out of the rooms where I placed it. I also tested the fan feature and it quickly cooled my room but it's fall in New York so I probably will not need the fan until the heat is too high and I want a cooler room and I know I will use the fan more next Spring. The remote has a power button, oscillating button, a button for the heater with up and down arrows and a fan button with up and down. Super easy, nothing complicated. It also has a removable side filter for easy cleaning. I definitely think this is a must have item. It will also make a great gift for the upcoming holidays for friends and family. I plan on getting one for my office too. Sometimes the heat is too high in my office so I can use the fan and when the air conditioning is too high I will use the heater function. I plan on using it all year and I highly recommend it. This is an excellent heater and fan.

Excellent heater and fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 2-in-1 tower heater and fan with remote is a great year round solution for all your temperature needs. It eliminates the need for a separate fan in the summer and space heater in the winter. Place the unit on a firm, level, flat surface and plug it in to a nearby outlet at least 1 foot away from the wall or furniture. There is a manual power switch located on the bottom back of the tower that must be turned on before it will operate. Both the heater mode and fan mode have a low speed and a high speed. Select your desired temperature. The temp. range is between 59 - 95 degrees Fahrenheit and is in 1 degree increments. You can choose to have the unit oscillate from side to side or keep it stationary. You can also program the unit on a timer anywhere between 1 to 12 hours. The unit will automatically shut off after 12 hours of continuous use. It comes with a remote control that uses 1 CR2032 battery that is included, you just have to insert it in the remote. It stands 27.25 inches high, weighs 10 pounds, and has a modern sleek design. It has a convenient handle built into the top of the back of the unit which also doubles as storage for the remote. It runs very quietly. Overall I am very impressed with this combination heater and fan.

Satisfied,takes some getting used to but a good purchase

Heater seemed fine but the fan part did not provide nearly enough cool air. I like the idea of a 2 in 1 that covers both winter and summer, but they'll have to significantly improve the fan to make it viable. Returned.

Poor fan

The unit does an ok job of heating a room, but it has a very prominent flaw that makes me not want to recommend it. The item has a built in thermostat obviously so it can shut off at the set temperature, the problem is that the unit seems to saturate its own thermostat while it's running, and shuts off prematurely. The unit will then read much higher then it actually is in the room until you turn it off and back on, wherein the fan will start running immediately and the temperature will drop rapidly until it actually reads the temperature of the room. This may not be an issue for all, but I got this unit as a secondary heat source for night time because my hvac system was having problems, it just doesn't do what I need it to.

Heats ok, but has a flaw.

It will not work after few months, may be its good for as a fan not as a heater.
