Wasn't sure what to expect but this product is fantastic!  Does exactly what I wanted it to from the minute I plugged it in. All of the stale lingering odors in the room are gone.  It's made such a difference! Whisper quiet.I would definitely buy this product again.

I bought this a week ago with a friend's recommendation. I tested it out for a week, it is very quiet to me even when the fan is selected at high speed. I can smell the difference in the air. My nose is less stuffy. I like the idea that when you change the NCCO Reactor, it is not going to release all the dirt and toxin back into the air like other brands of air purifier that uses a carbon filter. Besides, this is a very good price at Walmart.

VERY VEERY GOOD PRODUCT  CORONA VIRUS KILLER

After I learned that I could no longer get filters for my Sharp brand purifier (purchased 20 years ago, and I was able to get replacement filters until last year), I took a chance and purchased the Westinghouse NCCO AIR cleaner and Purifier (Model SP-6390 - larger than the personal sized one).  Excellent product.  Mineral smell?  To our family that is the clean smell of fresh air.  Sound level:  Beautifully soft and soothing (I keep mine on in our bedroom and it sounds faintly like rain falling versus white noise.  Indicator turns OFF after a few moments so no unnerving electronic glow to keep me awake (I admit that I have sensory issues!).  Product design:  Small, sleek, and light.  Responsiveness of control buttons to touch:  Yes (as other reviewers have noted):  A little tricky.  Not sure if it's the angle of touch, the angle of approach, or something else that is the issue (control panel is set on the curve of the top of the product).  I have had the product for 3 months and very satisfied.  I purchased a second one today and also found control panel responsiveness a problem upon initially assembling the components.  I “fluttered” my fingers across the panel, and then was able to engage the settings.  I will contact company to give this feedback.

Excellent Air Purifier

the machine is very quiet and the air is fresh and i gave it 4 star is because i dont know if it really kill germs as it is impossible to prove. It is very convenient that i could carry every where and light weight nice design , like said it is really portable.

I bought a larger version of this with a wall plug for home use. The box says it will have a smell when you turn it on that will go away after the first use. The smell never went away and gets stronger the longer you use it? It's very unsettling because the smell means it's putting something into the air, not cleaning it? Also, you can't run it for very long when it's plugged in. It will just turn off. The touch screen buttons are not very responsive and you have to keep trying to touch the right place over and over hoping it will work to change the speed. I wanted to like the medical grade air purifier but no. I do not like this. Weird smell, doesn't work, cleans the air how?? In case anyone else wants to be impressed with medical grade air cleaning- skip this brand

Very weird

Drove an hour to closest walmart for this product. Got home to realize there are no filters or reactor in box. Now have to drive another hour back to get filter and reactor. Will just return product instead and buy  Honeywell's product.
