Can be robust and long-lasting, but also prone to early failures.

Fails to sustain a steady low temperature during cooking.

Used it once and working well. Just need to be extra careful not to spill anything on the heating coil.  Going to be very hard to clean but for this price, need a bit extra work.

It's good while it works. Mine did for a few months and burnt out. However warranty claim was the easiest I have ever seen. Everything was shared via email and they sent me a Walmart Gift Card to obtain a replacement. I would buy this just because of the how easy it was to get a warranty claim filed with the company.

Good and heats fast!

Very good forvthe price. It could be a bigger base, large pots sit lip sided. But price wise its good.

A good little hot plate

Not that good, but not bad.

The spiral heater not fully gets to be heated. Only middle spot while at the outer rings no heat. 2nd, The thermostat keeps shutdown the heating in the middle of the cooking time and ruin the recipe

Cheap quality

You get what you pay for and I'm glad it was on sale. Otherwise I would have returned it already. 

Strong metallic and chemical smell. Grills started smoking on the first day. The whole unit gets hot, so it needs to be put onto something insulating. 

Other than the above, gets the work done and does get extremely hot. Just make sure the pan isn't put on after the grill is hot. The grill also tilts ever so slightly, so the food/oil moves to the tilted side a bit. Watch for smoking from the grills. 

Oh! the most annoying thing about this. The power cord is soooo short, you will definitely need to use it close to a socket or have an extension cord.

It's okay. Glad it was on sale.

I used few times, it works and I could cook, but I always smells like burned plastic. No apparent smoke is there but there is the smell and if u keep it on there are some sounds

Works but smells bad and make loud sounds

I've bought FOUR of these and two have died not even a week after using it every day for about an hour. The third one died on me after 1 month, and my last one is still surviving after 3 months. I expect it to die soon as well. If you're looking for something short term and cheap, get this burner. But if you need something for a trailer or small room/apartment for everyday use, you will lose more money than anything. This burner is very cheaply made and faulty. Get something that's better quality, and one that will last. You get what you pay for.

Be ready to throw it away soon after purchasing.

While the body of the burner is well constructed, the element is dangerous. It doesn't have any thermostat; it simply operates at full temp for a while (and becomes bright red) and then cuts out, cycling through that process even on the very lowest setting. The coil is also not flat, so only parts of it are in contact with the pan. And after only the initial few minutes on high, as per the instructions (to burn off the seasoning oil it came with on the coil), the metal on the support for the coil is flaking). So disappointed, as I was really hopeful this one would work. Going to return it.
