Life is a great game for the whole family. It teaches the value of money, how to make the choice to go to college for degree or just get a job without a degree, it requires players to get married, buy a home, buy stocks, buy home and auto insurance and sometimes you get to have children. My grandsons loved playing this game with me.

This game helps teach kids how to count money, learn about jobs, college, and the finances involved with them. It also throws a few random life-situation type curve balls we have all been through. All of this is wrapped into a board game that captures the whole family with a fun and enlightening experience!

Family time, Life experience, and finance.

My kids prefer the last edition with the plastic houses and bridges vs this new version is just a spinner and a card/money holder. Depending on the age, this version of LIFE is way more smooth (aka faster especially when playing with little kids) and efficient. Rules are slightly different but it's 1 page of rules, so it's fairly easy to understand. Great game for families with little kids and big kids.

For $10 it's definitely worth it

This was an absolute favorite game of my families growing up. My siblings and myself and also friends of mine used to LOVE playing this game. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my four kiddos this year and it was just complete nostalgia playing it with them.  GREAT family game, easy to play, easy to follow and explain to beginners and even younger kids. Want to add the new family favorite to your game night? LIFE IS THE ANSWER

I have 3 kiddos ages 9, 11 and 16 and we all love playing this game. it's easy to understand, and kids that are about 8 and up won't have a problem playing this at all. it's super fun to see what kind of career and how big of a family you'll have. I played this when I was a kid and loved it then, as well. The quality of the board, cars, people, cards and box are all great and seem durable. The spinner is just like the one in the game that I played when I was younger but the board does look a little different and more updated but it's the same concept. would be great to gift to a child 8 and up.

Enjoyed this game as a child. Bought for nieces and nephews after we played my game. I was disappointed that they have changed the game from its original version.

Same concept yet game different

I was so excited to get this and share with my child and nephews. The spinner won't even turn and was useless. We went ahead and used a dice from another game. Seeing as how the spinner was an integral part of the game I can't rate it high. The board is different and no longer attractive like the old style but that is a matter of opinion and not a functional problem.

Spinner won't work

I prefer the old version better. This one has so many cards and the game play has different choices that I am not a fan of...the people are non-binary...you can choose to not get married but have children...or just get a dog.

I will look for an older model.

Not the same anymore

Bought to replace older game had for many years no longer blue or pink people now multiple colors it's not the same game I loved it's a totally different game not really fun anymore it's a shame they trashed such a fun game it well go into the next garage sale hopefully I can at least get five bucks for it

So they took a family friendly classic board game and made it woke. Somehow I don't recommend this if you're not a fan of liberals you have lovely choices like investing in a cricket farm so people can eat crickets in the future or the green new deal you can also invest in climate change prevention you get my point.
