This snow blower is definitely worth it!  I live in upstate NY and it has worked through the worst snowstorms.  It even has moved the plowed snow that is left in front of my driveway.  The batteries last about 30 to 45 minutes which is just about the amount of time I need to do my small 2-car width driveway.   Definitely beats shoveling!

Great little machine.

I purchased this SnoJoe in November but didn't give it a true test till 12-23-22, when we had a snowstorm.  As seen by the photo, I had a drift in front of the garage that was appx. 10-12" high.  By doing the back-and-forth movement, this machine cleared the area well.  Once snow level was 3 inches or less, I could walk the machine without going back and forth.  
When it arrived, I wondered how well it would work since it is lightweight.  The two batteries give it great power and they lasted for 40 minutes or so--when doing the heavy snow drift work.    The directions were easy to follow so putting it together was quick and nonfrustrating.  I am a very limited mechanical woman---yet I had no problem.
I would recommend reading the manual --- there was much information about the machine, battery, and charger---all valid directions of correct usage and safety.   Even though it is small for its size and light in weight---it is not a toy.  There is much power with this product.   (Sorry the review process  could not add the photo)

The Easy-to Maneuver Machine - a Hard Worker

I live in Pennsylvania and if you know PA then you understand shoveling is just part of life. I bought this because I was fed up with shoveling. This thing is worth it's weight in gold. It requires both batteries to run but once you use it you will immediately understand. This thing cuts right through snow. I used it in about a foot of snow and it handles it like a beast. If the shoot clogs there's a small shovel that you can use to clear the clog. Pretty much comes assembled right out the box. You just have to tighten the knob screws and put the shoot adjuster on. Buy one and buy a cover for it. You won't regret it.

Best thing since sliced bread!

I bought it for my wife. This machine is very easy to assemble, lightweight has no electrical cable, and has no mess of gas.  But, the power is limited.  It is good up to 3-4 inches of snow top.  The spec said 10 inches.  It is not possible.  We have 3 inches or so of snow. The machine jammed.  The battery claims 30 minutes of life.  We can only get 20 minutes out of it.  We finished the rest of the job by shovel.

What a complete disappointment. First snowstorm of our area today with 3" and this blower couldn't handle it without a constant clogged chute. The batteries (which were fully charged and green) lasted less than 20 minutes. Both batteries (required for this unit) were so hot once removed that I was afraid to bring them in the house.  Now I understand why there is a plastic "tool/shovel" attached to the side of this model- every minute or so you have to manually unclog the chute, and then restart the battery!
 Worst design I have ever seen and the price is outrageous for such GARBAGE.
I've owned the corded Snow Joe for several years and although it is a pain to drag an outdoor cord through heavy snow, it actually works.
This battery version is useless. And the batteries are dangerous- overheated after 20 minutes in light snow. Someone will suffer a fire as a result if they are not careful and allow the hot batteries back into their home.
DO NOT RECOMMEND.

So far so good! This unit was easy to assemble and easy to carry. I'm a lady and I need something easy to maneuver when my boyfriend isn't here. I have an electric unit from snow joe but this is much more convenient. I'm happy with my purchase so far.

Convenient and light weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a previous sno Joe and was happy with it. Minimum assembly was simple, except for a cotter pin which was/is in a tight spot to insert.

i love my snow blower, works great and its loud and it has a light. i have a really long driveway and it clears it with no problems. its light enough to move around with no problems. and was easy to put together!
