I love all the features of this toaster, it toasts things so evenly and my favorite part is that it has a re-heat setting that heats without toasting more. The digital dial is really cool too!

Excellent bread grill

Love the digital display that adds a modern touch to our kitchen. Toaster gets our bread just the way each of us likes it. Wide slots allow for thicker bagels too which our family appreciates.

Great, modern toaster

Pros: This is a very nice looking toaster. It toasts very well and pretty evenly. I love the re-heat button feature.
The only Con I have, and it really bugs me, is that you have to adjust the browning control knob every time, unless you put in a piece of toast right away, then it seems to stay on the new setting. Normally though the setting goes back to the default each time. Also, you have to click the knob quite a few times to move to the next number. So you have to watch the screen when they could have just made it so you click it once to move ahead.

Pros & Con

Salton

I find this to be a poor quality toaster. First of all it toasts inconsistently. You can have it on one setting and the toast is too light then next time using the same bread same setting it's too dark. Also it's very slow, often need to wait several minutes like 7-8 for toast. Also although it's just over a year old the lever is already failing. It's very difficult to push down. Very surprised of the low quality of this unit considering it's a higher end toaster - at least it's priced like it. The toaster we had before this one was less than  a 3rd of the price of this one but it worked better and lasted longer. Definitely would not recommend this unit. Poor performance, poor quality and not worth the price. We're throwing this one out and getting something else.

Recommendation - avoid this unit.
