Loose enough to fit easily over mattress, good quality.
One downslide is that only one side is waterproof so when flipping your mattress you need to take it off and put it over again. 
I haven't tested how good it in waterproofing your mattress, I hope I don't have to dins out!! 4stars is only because I don't know how it would perform in this aspect.

Good choice

I like the fact that the mattress is fully encased and kept clean.  It is very smooth and soft so you do not feel or hear crackling noise when you move around.  I am pleased with the product..

Sweet Dreams…

Easy to insert mattress into the engagement. However, it is slightly oversized. There is excess fabric which needs to be tucked underneath so the sheets fit on smoothly.

No information (dimension) provided on mattress thickness.  The cover wouldn't fit.
