This frame is easy to assemble. I love the stick-Velcro that keeps the mattress in place. This frame is simple and low to the ground.

Great bedframe

First off, I never write reviews. But I just had to for this bed frame! I got this bed for my birthday and my expectations have been exceeded. I live by myself and put this frame together all by myself, in less than an hour and a half. It’s stylish, cute, and I think the USB thing is super helpful. It doesn’t make any squeaking noises which I think you usually find with these types of beds. My only complaint is that fedex delivered it on the bottom floor of my apartment complex, and I live on the top floor, and it was really heavy so I had to get help carrying it up the stairs, but obviously Zinus can’t do anything about that. I seriously could not be happier with this frame!!

Pretty easy to put together, no squeak, good price point

Overall good

I'm going to start with the frame is great. It is low as other reviewers have said, but if you're short like me and my spouse and have a thick mattress it's so nice to not have to practically climb a mountain to get into bed. I can sit comfortably and put my feet on the floor which is a nice change from our old bed frame, and definitely not something I can say about just any bed when I'm 5'1". It doesn't squeak or creak, it went together super easily, and the shelf is so useful for holding our phones and whatnot. The slat supports being Velcro attached is also genius. Everything goes together so fast, and frankly it's nice to think that if our cat or something got stuck or knocked under the bed out of reach, all we'd have to do is slide the mattress and pull the slats up instead of undoing them one by one like in a rail system.

That said, the photos for this listing evidently haven't been updated in a while so if you're expecting a smooth headboard and a lovely neutral mid-tone wood, that's not what you'll be getting. Now it's a darker rich toned wood with faux slatting for the headboard, which makes the visual contrast much less noticable especially if it's not super bright in the room. While that's not a deal-breaker for me given the other benefits the frame has for us, it is disappointing, and I personally find the faux slatting visually unappealing. The photos need to be updated to reflect the actual product if this is what it's going to be so that you know exactly what you're getting. 

Overall very happy with the purchase, but honestly we'll probably end up refinishing the wood somehow down the line to be more like our expectation. We wanted to brighten up the room a bit and while this is still way better than the solid black box our old IKEA Fjell bedframe was before, at the end of the day its still several shades darker than we thought we were getting and in a room with not a lot of natural light anything dark is that much darker.

I love the frame it self, not completely solid, but for 2 smaller people and a dog it works fine. Very low to the ground.

It's fine

I was super excited about this platform bed & the reviews we’re decent. After 3 years, the whole thing is falling apart.  The whole bed seats when I get in it. After further investigation, the pieces in the middle that hold up the king have broken.  The screws are broken and stuck inside the pieces that support it.  It’s also broken at the attachment for the headboard.  Pretty disappointed in the quality over time. I am single and sleep alone, and somehow the top of the bed broke :/  I’ll be shopping for my next bed elsewhere!

The instructions were clear and easy to follow for installation. The aesthetics of the bed are also great. The disappointment comes with the shipment of a damaged headboard. Would be 5 stars if there wasn’t any damage.
