This “safety turtle” was bought as a present for our preschool grandchild & parents. It arrived quickly & as described. There was no damage to the item. It is an excellent idea as something noticeable to be placed close to the road near a residence or park, flagging vehicle drivers to be extra careful because of children.

This is the sign that gets their attention. You put it out on the edge of the road, so it looks like a kid darting into traffic. Really....this is the sign you want!

Essential for protecting our young neighborhood kids as they ride their bikes around.  You must add 4 pounds of sand in the front leg base, otherwise the wind will knock it over.

I normally do not shop at Walmart.  My car always gets hit, and the store is usually a complete mess.  I saw online this item: Step2 Kid alert and it was 5 dollars cheaper than a competitor. I also saw there was free shipping to the store. So I ordered the item. It came in 4 days sooner than originally promised which was a plus.  The online pick-up was in the back of the store. The young lady behind the counter was pleasant and helpful and I was in and out of the store in 7 minutes.  The item was is perfect order and it was exactly what I wanted.  Thank you

Step2 Slow Down Boy

It provides me with a bit of peace of mind.

Worth the peace of mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the cheapest I found unless I ordered from China! Last time I did that it took months to get here

This comes in just two pieces, but putting them together was almost impossible. It is two plastic pieces that snap together, but they are so tight that it required some axle grease and a great amount of force from my neighbor after my husband and I both couldn't get it together.  Once it is together it is great.

Good once you manage to assemble

The pieces do not fit together. It is impossible to fit the foot of the kid into the stand. The pieces that stick out and are supposed to insert into the holes in the stand are too hard and do not slip into the holes no matter how much pushing, twisting, and banging that I do. I am very disappointed. I even watched a YouTube video with tips such as putting vegetable oil on the pieces so that they would fit together easier. It didn't work.

For something that should be simple to use, it is very difficult to even get it to be functional. 
Not only is it impossible to fit the body into the base, but the lid to keep the water in the  base doesn't even fit into the opening.  Sad that we haven't even been able to use it.
