Well, it doesn't burn my bread, so we're already off to a better start than my last relationship. Now I've got four glorious trays to cradle my Italian goodness and toast it to perfection—crispy enough to impress my girlfriend, and that's no small feat.

I like stainless steel black is too overpowering but it works good I got one set all the way up for sourdough bread in one halfway for regular bread so it's handy that way I don't like four toasters but I prefer the two slice but the four slice toaster came with the couple rubbers missing on the bottom it slides around on the counter except for one corner

my brother in law had a very old toaster old enough to no matter what setting you put it on the house always smelled like burnt popcorn so I decided to get him a new one... works great and no more burnt popcorn smell LOL 
I love it for using it for either my English muffins or my bagels... I'm glad that I got it and highly recommend it

amazing toaster especially for the price

I especially like the dial for the brownness of the toast, much better control of it. Also, it browns faster than my previous toasters. I like the smaller size, it's easier to store, but the slots still accommodate thicker bread slices. Highly recommend.

This toaster over doesn't enough features. It's not as flexible, neither strong.
The power cord is too short so much I had to use a power strip extension cord, which was doesn't compatibilty either. But without it, the toaster works. This toaster oven is not stainless, neither rust-free.

Mainstays 4-Slice Toaster Black

Having never owned a four-slice toaster before, I was unsure how our experience would be, but I can honestly say that we are truly happy with our purchase.  First off, it came packed well so there was no damage to the item when we received it, plus it came with complete instructions which was a blessing as I wasn't sure if we would have any issues with the 2 extra slots.

Installation was a breeze, and I was able to complete the task within 5-10 minutes since it was not much different than installing a 2-slice toaster as I have done many times before.  I'll admit that I was a little nervous at first since this toaster had more controls than I was used to seeing, but then I realized that it has a separate timer and drop handle for each of the two slots.  

Now here comes the fun part.  With our previous 2-slice toasters, when making breakfast I was always forced to make the wife's toast first, and then I would make my toast.  With this amazing four-slice toaster it has the advantage of allowing me to make both the wife's, and my toast at the same time.  So, as I was making breakfast I loaded up our new toaster with four slices of bread and then I dropped the hammer on both sets of slots at the same time to see who's toast would get toasted first.  

It took maybe 3-4 minutes before I had my answer, but after some anticipation I heard a pop, and low and behold the wife's toast popped up first. Withing 15-20 seconds my toast popped up warm and golden brown just waiting to be buttered.

It wasn't until then that I knew that we would really appreciate our new Mainstays 4-Slice Toaster Black with 6 Shade Settings and Removable Crumb Tray, and it would be an important part of our breakfast routine for years to come.

The Amazing Toaster

just opened the box 2 days ago and been using it every since, im enjoying my 4 slice toaster every morning, should've bought this years ago feeding a large crowd , the 4 slice makes a big difference.

The one thing that is somewhat annoying. If you want to release the toast before the timer goes off, you have to turn the knob all the way to the left and then you have to readjust it to toast again. The markings to The light or the darkness are very hard to see. I wish it had a button to press to release the toast before the timers goes off.

THE KNOBS IN FRONT, SPIN AROUND LIKE IF THEY ARE NOT CONNECTED TO ANYTHING. HARD TO GET A CORRECT BROWNING OF TOAST... DOES NOT FIT ALL THE BAGELS SIZES..HAD TO KEEP PUTTING BREAD IN AND USE THE CANCIL  BUTTON TO CHECK IT.. I HAVE GOT MANY MAINSTAY PRODUCTS AND NO PROBLEM, SOME ARE STILL GOING STRONG..

The two slots on the left side stopped automatically popping up and I have to now keep an eye on it and manually do it. Not worth the hassle of trying to return it so I'll just deal with it but I would recommend that you spend a little more for something with better quality.
