This is a very nice saute pan for a single person or a couple.  It is not the huge pan usually sold for saute pans and it is the perfect size for my needs.  The non-stick surface is working well after 3 meals and I expect it to last a while.  The lid fits perfectly and made cooking a stove-top casserole very simple. I recommend this inexpensive pan for all the one-person meal cooks out there.

Just the right size. Not too heavy. Side is deep enough to prevent sloshes and messes. Top does not have a vent hole.

Big enough and won't break your wrist.

The only thing I would suggest to change this is a vent hole in the lid. It does exactly what it was intended to do and it works great and it's very nonstick..

10 inch sauté pan with lid

First, I am a huge fan of Tramontina! About 5 years ago my son bought me a whole set, and after using them constantly every day since, they still look brand new, not one scratch on the inside or outside.  Nothing sticks to these pans.  So when I was looking for a saute pan a couple years ago, I bought this one. I just bought another one.  I do all my cooking for the week, on the weekend.  I wanted a couple of them so I can get things done quickly.  Again, this is just like the larger set... nothing sticks, and no chipping.  I've been seriously cooking since the 70s.  I have gone through so many brands, and some of them very expensive. I can easily say these are the best.

Best brand I've ever had.

it is the perfect size to fry a few parts of a chicken (breast, thigh etc) make small amts of sauce or even some stew. i am single and kids are grown and out of the house. the smaller pan has made it easier to cook just one meal instead of family size one.

Purchased in person. It was lighter weight then I would prefer so only 4 on quality.
Value for money and all other aspects were worth a 5.
I use this pan almost every day. Have to watch because since the bottom is lighter than desirable, it can develop hot spots from the burner, however this is only relevant when cooking certain items that are supposed to simmer.

it is not deep at all 1.5 inch deep. Sucks

This pan does not work on induction ovens. Despite the manufacturer's label. I had to return the item to the store.

First impression? Lightweight (some people like that) and no instructions about seasoning, which I learned the hard way is important,I have a destroyed pan that I'm replacing. Then I rip the label off and the instructions are on the back, which I have to read with a magnifying glass (Boomer stuff) and then discover that you can NEVER use high heat on this pan. What???  How can you brown hamburg on medium heat? Answer is, you can't. I'm not going to return it and I'll eat the cost. You need to do the research (I was researching a Walmart product and reading the reviews, unfortunately all the reviews were written by the EMPLOYEES of the company selling the product) Point is,it is what it is,some things are cheap for a reason, do your research, my search for a good frying pan continues.
