I bought a full size and a twin size for a bunk bed.  both exceed my expectations.  It is really more firm than i expected.  unboxing it is a wonder to see.  How they get that full size mattress in that box is magical.
I am setting a house up as an AirB&B and I will be buying more of these.

It's been about two weeks now (as of 16/08/2025) since I started using this mattress, and I must say it feels very comfortable and absolutely worth the price compared to my old one. For maximum comfort, I'd recommend adding a 1–2 inch mattress topper. I'm 6'2” and weigh about 97kg, and I use the queen size. I can feel the springs slightly, but it's not uncomfortable at all. Overall, I highly recommend this mattress especially at the price of $299 before tax.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattress is perfect for someone who prefers something firm with a little bounce. There's not a lot of padding on the top. I wish the material was a little more stain resistant or easier to clean, we have to use a mattress cover because even spilled water stained the top.

An okay choice.

This seems to be a high quality mattress.  It's a bit stiffer than I thought it would be but at the price I paid it is a bargain.  I had no problem with the setup and am looking forward to it lasting for a long while.

A good mattress at a bargain price!

Needed a mattress for a guest, was considering a blow up one.  GET THIS INSTEAD!!  Its better than those foam ones, has actual springs and is well made.  Absolute great for the price and will last a long time with occasional guests sleeping on it.  
Now I don't have to worry about a blow up mattress loosing air or leaking long term, this will be around for years for guests to sleep on.
The price is amazing for a double size, was shipped to my door for free and comes in a box rolled up then easily flattens out and fluffs up in a few days.
If you are in need of a guest bed, don't hesitate to purchase this one, you will not be disappointed!!

Awesome mattress for guests at the price

I bought this mattress because my son had been sleeping on my old one for 10 years. Old one had a sag in middle but didn't bother him because he was so lighweight. He's 22 now and at an adult weight so his back was bothering him due to the rut. I looked at regular mattresses and they were way out of my budget. I decided to look at Wal Mart and found this for around $200.00. When it arrived in that small box I said, oh no, what have I done. We opened it up and poof, it immediately expanded to a normal size - so crazy! First he said he loved it, then he hated it. I told him to give it time as he had been sleeping in a rut on the old mattress and this new one was firm. Next day, I asked again.....he said he absolutely loved it! I did however just buy a memory foam topper to put on it as well. Today he said it was a little warm but felt like he was sleeping on a cloud! It was an early Xmas gift and I did good! He's usually very picky about everything. Time will tell if it holds up but for now we are very pleased :)

Took a chance on this mattress

I purchased a king size mattress-in-a-box and give it high marks. It was exactly as advertised and an excellent alternative to much higher priced mattresses. I wanted an economical mattress as I planned to cover it with 4" memory foam. The combination is better, imo, than a mattress costing 10x as much. Don't be afraid of buying one of these coil spring mattresses from Walmart, they are an excellent option. The delivery took longer than 2 days, as advertised, and they apologized and issued to me a 5$ voucher. And shipping was free! I would recommend this mattress to friends and would purchase one again!

Slumber-1-8-Mattress-In-a-Box King Size

I had Zinus mattress for 5 years and it was perfect. We changed the bed size in Aug 2025 and got this new mattress. It is horrible. All night with a slight move gives loud squeaking sounds which is very annoying. 
Don't buy !!!
I wish I could have given 0 stars.

Very disappointed with this mattress!!

Even though I read the negative reviews saying they got a different brand, I decided to give it a shot, and to my surprise same issue, got a different brand and they are saying will replace with Zinus brand, I hope they do or else I will file a complaint for false advertisement

this mattress is so bad I slept 1 night had such a bad back ache next morning  got up and it had such a bad dip where I laid. I'm an amputee so can't load up and return such a bad purchase its just lost money I have to deal with. don't buy no firmness at all
