I love my bike. I'm 5ft 10 and the size is enormous but perfect for my height. If you fall under “short people” category,the bike might be too big lol. This bike literally has contributed in my happiness

Buy it!

This is a really great bike. Easy to assemble when they send it and ready to go in a few minutes after you open the box. The battery lasts great. Does well on Hills. I'm from Canada and I say the price was awesome!

Great Buy

This bike at the sale price is an amazing deal. The bike feels solid and everything worked well right out of the box. Electric assist from the cadence sensor is fine. There's a little delay before it kicks in and a little delay after you stop pedaIing (longer than say a radpower bike) but overall the electric assist does its job well. I was worried about the stopping power of cheapish linear pull brakes so I replaced the rear brake pads with Kool Stops. The brakes work really well and are dead silent. No squealing or chattering. Better stopping power than I expected. The stock seat is really uncomfortable. I recommend upgrading. Will see how the bike holds up after a year but, for example, it feels more solid and rides better than a 600 dollar non-electric cruiser from Canadian Tire. I was able to mount a Thule Yepp Maxi frame mounted child seat to the frame on the seat tube with the clamps underneath the brake cables. Rides well with a 30lb child on the back. Five stars for the money (on sale $398). There's also a big facebook community dedicated to upgrading / repairing these bikes and lots of information on replacement parts online which is more than most online/direct from china ebikes.

Very decent affordable ebike gets the job done

Stylish looking functional bike. Sturdy frame. A bit on the heavier side but not an issue with pedal assist. 3 levels of assist are helpful. It does have a kick to it and the assist pushes you forward quick- without maintaining a smooth speed.

Affordable starter electric bike

At 398 it is a fantastic deal. Delivery was quick as well. Do note that you will need tools to assemble the bike. The frame is aluminum but the rest was steel. It is quite hefty overall but still rides fine with the six speed, even without power assist! I did add a more cushy seat for the bikes (bought two bikes). Had to adjust the shifter and brake lines to get it going smoothly and to fix the brake squeal of the vbrakes. All bolting was checked again as well for peace of mind. The front suspension though needs to be improved, not smooth at all. Overall, great starter e-bike for the price.

Great Value E-bike, need better Front Suspension

On sale these are a good deal. Giving the bike a 4 star rating as replacement/backup batteries are nearly impossible to find as they're sold out 99.99% of the time. Also the seat is garbage, I had to replace. The back breakpads are also terrible and I had to replace them. The rest of the components are a step up in quality compared to other budget bike brands like Kent, Schwinn, CCM, etc.

Solid

The good is that it seems well built and with the sale price was very affordable for having an ebike option and it goes plenty fast with that pedal assist and battery seems to hold a good charge. The cons are the hub motor is only 250 watts so a bit under powered, and the pedal assist is calibrated too fast for the first setting. I would prefer about a 10km/hr vs it's something like 15 or 18km/hr. When you want to just gently cruise with assist, it just wants to go too fast. I also find the pedal assist sensor on the pedal gear is not very sensitive. We had to actually bend it closer for it to 'sense' the pedals moving and even then you have to be pedalling quite fast for it to pick it up. It has no light which would be nice. Finally, it would be nice to have a throttle as you the only way the hub motor kicks in is if you peddle. To sum up, for a sale price it's a decent buy. But it's for entry level e-bike users only. If you want a more sophisticated bike, you'll need to spend more. I would probably not buy again, not because you don't get a decent bike for the sale price money, but having owned better e-bikes, it's hard to settle for all the compromises

Okay for a basic e-bike

The bike randomly works (or not), we went to westbrook Walmart to ask for technical support but they don't have so we just returned it and bought another one in a most reliable place to get a E-bike.

You get what you pay for

Since I bought it, I have charged my battery and had all the misery in the world to adjust the brakes. The rear brake is not working and the front brake is too noisy. The front rail rubs on the wheel. As for the power assist, even if the battery is fully charged and the display is on, it doesn’t work and I feel like it doesn’t fit in its place. Result, I used it only once and I regretted it because it was heavier than my bike and I had no electric assistance while pedaling.

Failed bicycle

The wheels were bent after 4 days. There's a weight limit that only can be seen after you purchased it and the item is not eligible for returns. The bike is useless after 4 days, because there's no replacement for the wheels. Do not waste your money.
