The toddler picked this out himself he loves it.  The drink does pull up slowly through the straw but thats ok. Spill proo  im nit sure i didnt get the toddler to test if liquid comes out the straw but overall it is vacuum sealed for both hot and cold drinks.

I actually don't mind the straw being a hard material because it causes less of a desire for my son to want to teethe with it. The parts are easy to hand wash and I don't have any issues with leaking.

We even took it oversees, it is not bulky and leak-proof. The only thing I was worried about was not to forget it somewhere because my daughter loves her water bottle so much!

It's helped their drinks stay cold outside while we play, it's super easy to clean, and most importantly, it hasn't leaked a single time, even after falling off the table, off the swing set, etc. They have a number of other Contigo cups and I exclusively use Contigo for taking coffee on the go, and the brand never disappoints for durability and overall quality feel. Easy clean and it's nice that it has a boot on the bottom so it doesn't get dinged up. Fits in the cup holder in my vehicle which is super helpful too.

Solid leak proof bottle!

It keeps her water cold throughout the night as well. The lid and straw come apart for easy cleaning. I want 100 more of these cups. They're very durable and have been dropped several times but hasn't broken.

It's like sucking through a straw that has a hole it in. It the liquid doesn't come up smooth at all. I tried fixing it to see if it was user error and not well assembled but no luck. I hate to cut a hole where it has the leak proof part and my son is still not a fan.
