Several years ago, I sent little girl in Mexico, some Barbie dolls, not thinking anything about it. You know for 2 1/2 years and I went back to Mexico and she pulled out the Barbie dolls. She still has them. They look exactly like they did when I gave them to her. I was shocked that a now nine-year-old girl would take care of that. So I decided to buy her a lot more Barbies and the Barbie car. Knowing that she will take care of them a gift for a very special girl.

This is such a beautiful Barbie doll. It's made of really great quality. The dress is nicely made and this would be th perfect gift for a little girl who loves Barbie's!!! The necklace is pretty nice looking as well. My little girls love this Barbie. Such a great design!

I like buying the Mattel Barbies. This one is very high-quality. I've seen cheaper invitations, but you can see the quality isn't there and I've looked at some of the dresses that are look-alike for the Mattel dress. This Barbie comes on and they're very cheaply made and the quality just isn't there.

Nice attention to details, definitely resembles the Barbie in the movie. For me it is for my collection, my granddaughter loves her movie star Barbie.

Beautiful doll. The hair wasn't the best. I had to trim it and curl it a little.  Still pleased with my purchase. Looks like the movie Barbie. Wish the dress had a petticoat. Design of the dress, shoes and jewelry is dainty and pretty.

This Barbie is really cute and my granddaughter loved it, especially with the pink gingham dress from the movie. It definitely captures the look and is fun for any Barbie fan.
That said, I did notice the quality isn't quite what I remember from Barbie dolls in the past. The doll feels much lighter and a bit more cheaply made than the older ones I'm used to. It's not bad by any means—just not as sturdy or substantial as I expected.
For the price, it's still a nice doll and makes a great gift, but if you're expecting the same quality as classic Barbies, you may notice the difference.

Cute Doll, But Not the Classic Barbie Quality

This barbie is super cute. the quality of the hair and the clothing is spectacular.  I would recommend this to any young Barbie fan. it's a great collectable as well.

glad I got on sale. for the oringal price Mattel's quality just continues to deplete I bought these for customs but for a long time fan of barbie I'm continue to be sad that they are killing their most beloved characters with the way they continue to treat this IP. the clouthes are horrid quality barley get any accessories if they aren't on the doll and yet your still paying a premium price for really any of their products. I hope things change soon but if they continue to decline I'm sadly thinking of not buying anymore Barbie.

Great movie representation but poor quality

I rush delivered and paid extra to have this delivered for my daughters birthday today. I got an already opened box and Barbie which was not secured and the order label was placed across the front of the box so it ruined the front of the box. I had to reorder again for today and pay again extra to have another one delivered. I don't have a car. Not what I expect when I order a product! Why would they send a box with packaging tape on it!!? I bought it for a teenager who will want to keep it in the box displayed. Not played with.
