Easy to set up. Was concerned as one box came very damaged but everything was good. Took my son and husband about 3-4 hours to set up. Only complaint I would have is the shipping company was very hard to contact

Good value

I love my pergola! It was easy to install and it's working great. We enjoying the shade from it and the  look of it!

Pergola

Picked this up for our west facing deck. We've had to use multiple umbrellas in the past and we wanted something a little more permanent without being so permanent it's installed to the side of the house. We also wanted the louvre design to be able to allow sun through the window underneath but then also close to shade it when the sun is at hits hottest. We went with the 10x12ft size and honestly we wish it was 11x12ft but it still seems to fit great on the deck. The one thing I wish was that it wasn't so dark, a lighter color model like a grey/stone color would have suited our home much better, this one is black and very dark,  but thats just personal preference.

The hardware was all beautifully labelled and organized. All bolts already had their washers ready to go on them too which was such a nice change compared to other things we've ordered and built in the past. They included two Allen keys, knowing it would take two people to build and even included a ratcheting Allen key tool which saved so much time! That was impressive on its own.

This model acme with am included big screen. Though the bugs can just come through the top where the louvres are, or the gap between the screen and frame where it hangs on the slider hooks, it will still keep the majority of the mosquitos and flies out, which will be a welcome change to having nothing at all on the deck this summer.

I dedicated a star because I thought the louvres might be aluminium pieces but are in fact just a metal frame with fabric stretched over them.Not sure what we'll do once the UV breaks down the material and what we'd replace them with. 
And it would have been nice to receive some extra of the plastic slider hooks for the bug screen in case some break. But I'm not sure how we'd get more int the slider frame without having to take the frame apart… so that will be interesting whe one breaks. With the hot summers and UV and children, I can already see a couple of broken slider hooks in our near future.

Overall, I'm very happy with how this came packaged. Everything was labelled. It went together nice and easy, no wonky pieces or holes that didn't lineup. (I've built my fair share of Amazon furniture where this has happened!) it sees very sturdy as well.

Impressed

Really happy with this purchase. Took us a while to find one with the right measurements and this one works perfectly for our space. Took 2 people about 3 hours to put this together.  The instructions are great and easy to follow. It's actually a simple build. Only con I can think of is that it while it does come with a bug net which is great, we wish it came with a privacy screen also. We struggling to find one that will fit properly. Otherwise, really happy with this.

We just installed it and really like the size and look. We will see how well it does throughout the summer. Con: the zipper on one side of the screens is completely stuck and will not unzip. Hoping I can get it to work.

Perfect size

I was expecting steel shutters and they are made of fabrics. Get stuck when complete close to open the shutters. Shows itself well against.

I am disappointed with this purchase; the sun still gets in and now I
have to get curtains to block out the sun

The part that's used to open and close the roof was missing and we now have to go back and forth to Walmart to find the part. All this trouble after most of the set up was completed!!! Huge disappointment with the packaging as well as the package was tampered with and did not come with all original packing. It was plastered with cling wrap. The unit in itself is nice, but dealing with the packaging and delivery is a hassle!

Part Missing

I couldn't be more disappointed. Ordered this item online and paid for delivery. Only 1/2 of the boxes arrived. Shipping company claims they dropped both off. This is untrue as the shipping company would not drive up my driveway to deliver, so my husband had to drive over to the main road to collect the giant  box. He only received one of the parcels. Was told to wait 4 days to see if the other half would arrive. It did not. Advised to return and reorder product. Product was sold out at this point and was reluctant as most likely this would be the same company used for shipping again. Now I will have nothing once the return is picked up and complete.
